And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rey Jericho!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Puppy, as that shot connected.
Puppy throws a series of punches but Jericho avoids them all with ease.
Puppy throws a looping overhand right but Jericho ducks down to avoid it.
The crowd cheers as Puppy lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jericho doesn't seem phased though.
Jericho's coach down at Wax on Wax off 'Dojo was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Jericho's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Jericho tries for a takedown but Puppy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jericho moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Sick Puppy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jericho ducks right into an uppercut from Puppy.
Puppy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jericho paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A punch combination from Puppy misses.
Jericho uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Puppy.
Puppy thuds his right hand into Jericho's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Nice uppercut lands for Puppy. That snapped Jericho's head back.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Puppy jabs Jericho right on the nose. Jericho blinks but takes it well.
Puppy fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Jericho has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Puppy to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jericho is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Puppy pulls down on the head and he's put Jericho to sleep! This one is all over!
