The fight stays on the outside here - Pickering looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Horrible takedown by Eater or perhaps it was just good defense by Pickering which made him look bad.
Eater definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Shadow comes into the arena with Snake in the Eagles Shadow blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Shadow fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fidle manages to avoid it.
We've been informed that Fidle has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Fidle takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Fidle moves away from the strike by Shadow.
Shadow throws a hook to the side of Fidle's head but Fidle sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Shadow has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Shadow throws a right hand that Fidle ducks under and follows up with a left that Fidle also avoids with ease.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olah fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Hunter tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Olah swivels and escapes.
Hunter displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Olah throws out the jab.
Olah throws a front kick aimed at Hunter's knee but Hunter avoids it well.
Olah scores with a decent looking hook.

It looks like Cassius Hunter has been cut.
Cassius Hunter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hunter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Olah is fending him off so far but Hunter persists. Nope, Olah circles away and we're back to standing.

Hunter shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hunter showed some decent athleticism there.
Olah keeping hold of Hunter's head, controlling as best he can.
Olah tries to get to full guard but Hunter has control of the leg.
Olah is staying active underneath Hunter, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Hunter wants to work for an arm triangle but Olah is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Hunter is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Olah is just riding it out for now. Hunter eventually gives up the hold.
Olah is trying to maintain the position but Hunter is very close to passing his half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hunter seems to be working for a kimura but Olah defends the submission attempt.
Olah is trying to get back to full guard.

We've been hearing that Hunter has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Hunter trying to control the position from guard on top but Olah is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hunter is looking to advance position but Olah has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Hunter wants to control but Olah is having none of it.
Olah wants to control the pace but Hunter is squirming around nicely.
Olah looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Cassius Hunter's cut is getting worse.
Hunter is wriggling around trying to escape.
Olah trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Olah swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hunter is now in Olah's guard. A big mistake from Olah there, giving up the dominant position!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hunter wants to control from the top but Olah keeps moving.

Olah manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hunter manages to get himself to full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hunter tries to escape but Olah has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Hunter grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.

Jeez, Cassius Hunter's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Cassius Hunter's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Halo Olah!
Halo Olah is the new heavyweight champion!
After winning the bout, Halo Olah thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
