The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Desperado fails with a takedown attempt. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Desperado checks a leg kick. Desperado tries for a takedown but Bear Shield sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bear Shield connects with a crisp jab. Desperado misses with a takedown attempt - Bear Shield sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tito Desperado. That's going to take a lot out of him. Desperado shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Bear Shield looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Desperado decides to stand up. Desperado fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bear Shield sprawls well initially but Desperado persists and gets the takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bear Shield trying to hold on to Desperado's head to control him but Desperado postures up.
Bear Shield has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Desperado. Oh but Bear Shield has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Desperado goes limp - he's gone! Bear Shield jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A quick uppercut on the inside from Diaz. Gracie lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Diaz looking for submissions off his back. Gracie is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Diaz! Gracie throwing strikes but Diaz uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Diaz is doing well to control the position and prevent Gracie from advancing to side control. Diaz is trying to get back to full guard. Gracie is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Diaz still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Diaz has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Gracie is not content to let Diaz control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie gets back to half guard. Gracie actively working from the bottom here. Diaz prevents Gracie from improving his position. Gracie trying to hold on to Diaz's head to control him but Diaz postures up.
Gracie wants to get back to full guard but Diaz has passed into side control. Diaz wants to control but Gracie is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Diaz wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Gracie is trying to escape the position but Diaz is controlling the position. Gracie is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Diaz off and has taken his back! Gracie somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Gracie throwing sloppy strikes. Gracie gets his hands free as Diaz looks to control. Gracie scores with punches and elbows. Gracie seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Diaz is really stuck here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz tries to escape but Gracie has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Can Diaz hold on?! Gracie is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.

Diaz is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Diaz is defending well. Gracie quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Diaz has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Gracie celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ghanizadeh tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Jalkalukko is able to avoid easily. Jalkalukko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Ghanizadeh misses with an attempted mid kick.
Ghanizadeh throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Ghanizadeh stuffs the takedown. Ghanizadeh cracks the inside of Jalkalukko's front leg. Ghanizadeh does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Ghanizadeh looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Jalkalukko shoots in looking for a takedown but Ghanizadeh manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jalkalukko's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Amir Ghanizadeh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesse Jalkalukko. Ghanizadeh connects with a leg kick. Jalkalukko looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jalkalukko takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Ghanizadeh fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jalkalukko has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. A nice inside leg kick there by Ghanizadeh. That's going to slow Jalkalukko down. Jalkalukko looks winded! Jalkalukko dives in and scores a takedown into Ghanizadeh's guard. Ghanizadeh lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jalkalukko!
That's one minute gone in the round. Ghanizadeh tries to control but Jalkalukko wriggling away. Ghanizadeh takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Ghanizadeh trying to control but Jalkalukko is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ghanizadeh is really struggling to control Jalkalukko but he's trying to hold on to the position. Ghanizadeh definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Jalkalukko is trying to reverse the position but instead Ghanizadeh has taken his back - oops! Ghanizadeh gets his hands free as Jalkalukko looks to control. Ghanizadeh is riding his opponent, not letting Jalkalukko buck him off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ghanizadeh has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Jalkalukko trying to control but not successfully. Ghanizadeh is hanging on to Jalkalukko's back as he tries to escape.
Jalkalukko turns into Ghanizadeh and is now in his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jalkalukko sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ghanizadeh's guard. My spies in CEC Underdark inform me that Jalkalukko has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ghanizadeh is refusing to be controlled, as Jalkalukko sits in half guard. Ghanizadeh wants to control but Jalkalukko is keeping busy and won't allow it. Ghanizadeh is staying active underneath Jalkalukko, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ghanizadeh tries to get to full guard but Jalkalukko has control of the leg. Jalkalukko moves nicely into side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ghanizadeh is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's going to take a lot out of Jesse Jalkalukko. The crowd cheers as Ghanizadeh lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jalkalukko doesn't seem phased though. Jalkalukko avoids the head kick by Ghanizadeh.
Ghanizadeh moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Ghanizadeh leaves Jalkalukko with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ghanizadeh misses with a head kick.
A slapping body kick lands there for Ghanizadeh. Ghanizadeh misses with a leg kick. A momentary lapse in concentration from Ghanizadeh enables Jalkalukko to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ghanizadeh manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Ghanizadeh looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jalkalukko is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ghanizadeh is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ghanizadeh has escaped and now he's on top! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ghanizadeh pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jalkalukko is keeping the position for now. Ghanizadeh slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Ghanizadeh trying to control the position from guard on top but Jalkalukko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Ghanizadeh misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andersson missing with a left hand there. Boxlund was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Andersson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A jab lands there for Andersson. Andersson moves out of range of the body kick. Boxlund defending well as Andersson loads up on a big left hand. Andersson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Boxlund. Crunch! Boxlund slams his shin into Andersson's torso. Andersson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Boxlund to score with a decent uppercut. Boxlund misses with a leg kick. Nice cross by Andersson. Andersson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Andersson looks to throw the jab but Boxlund is out of range. Good leg kick by Andersson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Andersson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Boxlund manages to avoid it. Boxlund scores with a jab to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Andersson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Andersson. Boxlund fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Decent striking displayed by Boxlund there. Boxlund has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Bad Pluto! in the buildup to the fight. Andersson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Andersson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Andersson blocks a leg kick. Boxlund takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Andersson slips a straight right by Boxlund. Andersson throws a body punch but Boxlund moves out of range. Andersson throws a leg kick that misses. Some bone on bone action there as Boxlund checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Andersson takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Boxlund throws a hook but Andersson avoids it easily. Boxlund throws out a loose jab but Andersson uses good head movement to avoid it. Andersson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Andersson throws a right and a left that both miss. Boxlund throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Sloppy strikes from Andersson. Those never looked like landing. Andersson misses with a few strikes there.
Andersson looks to score with a jab to the body but Boxlund is just out of range. Andersson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Boxlund. Andersson ducks under a wild hook from Boxlund. Boxlund misses with the combination.
Boxlund fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andersson thows a body shot but no joy. Boxlund clinches up with Andersson and pushes him back against the cage. Boxlund goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Andersson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Andersson connects with a single shot there. Andersson thows a left - swing and a miss! Ouch! a nice leg kick from Andersson, right into the meat.
Boxlund throws a body punch but Andersson moves out of range. Boxlund misses with a body shot.
Jab from Andersson. Boxlund misses with a looping right. Boxlund takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Andersson tries to bum rush Boxlund with a series of wild strikes but Boxlund uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Andersson throws a hook to the side of Boxlund's head but Boxlund sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Boxlund rushes Andersson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Boxlund tries to throw a body punch but Andersson avoids it by throwing Boxlund back against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A shot in the inside from Boxlund. Boxlund avoiding damage.
Andersson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Andersson trying to control the position but instead, Boxlund has worked for underhooks and has pushed Andersson into the cage. Boxlund lands with a short head shot on the inside. Andersson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Andersson avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Nice uppercut there from Boxlund. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Andersson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Boxlund looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Andersson slips under a jab from Boxlund. Boxlund throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Boxlund cracks the inside of Andersson's front leg. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Blixt Boxlund will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Andersson counters with a left to the body. Boxlund connects with a solid leg kick. Andersson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Boxlund manages to avoid it. Boxlund is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Boxlund takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Andersson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boxlund was well out of range. Poor timing from Andersson. Boxlund takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Andersson throws a nice looking combination but Boxlund bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Boxlund loads up on a big right hand but Andersson slips the punch. and Boxlund counters with a lovely shot to the body. Andersson throws out a loose jab but Boxlund uses good head movement to avoid it. Andersson cracks Boxlund with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Boxlund cracks a nice hook into Andersson's ribs. Boxlund blocks a leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boxlund stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Boxlund avoids the body shot from Andersson.

It looks like David Berkowitz has been cut. Berkowitz feints and then cracks Resso's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Resso down. Resso takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Berkowitz wants to clinch. Berkowitz looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Resso takes a swing at Berkowitz's ribcage but misses. Berkowitz fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Resso on the side of the head. Resso lands a big head kick that sends Berkowitz tumbling to the mat! Resso takes a step backwards and waves Berkowitz back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Berkowitz is rocked! Berkowitz will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Berkowitz is still on wobbly legs! Can Resso finish him? Berkowitz ducks under a wild hook from Resso. Berkowitz throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Berkowitz throws a looping overhand right but Resso ducks down to avoid it.

The fight stays on the outside here - Berkowitz looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Resso fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Resso staying out of range there. Resso drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Berkowitz right on the button. Berkowitz goes down! Resso follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Resso gets the win via TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nevsky uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tu. Tu swats away the attempt to clinch by Nevsky. Tu scores with a jab to the body. Nevsky leaves Tu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Tu falls off balance throwing a combination
and Nevsky counters with a nice double leg into guard. Tu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nevsky gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Tu keeping moving, preventing Nevsky from controlling successfully. Nevsky lands a couple of elbows. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tu wants to sweep but no luck. Tu will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Tu is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Nevsky is aware though and is defending well. Tu tries to land a sweep but no joy. Nevsky lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Nevsky scoring with some ground and pound. Tu utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tu has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Nevsky should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Tu has tightened it up now! Nevsky should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
