The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Austin tries to bum rush Gracie with a series of wild strikes but Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Austin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gracie gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Gracie keeps the fight on the outside.
Austin has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Austin misses with a double jab.
Austin throws a predictable looking body shot

and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Austin won't be happy with that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Davies misses with a few strikes there.
Davies throws a right hand that Alexander ducks under and follows up with a left that Alexander also avoids with ease.

Alexander closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Alexander lands in his opponent's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kos ducks straight into an uppercut from Goodman and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Kos manages to regain guard straight away.

Goodman postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Kos covers up, he's hurt! Goodman keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Goodman and the ref steps in to end the fight! Goodman can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
