The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper shoots in but no luck this time.
Gibon swings for the body but Cooper moves out of range.

Gibon drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Cooper can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gibon controls the pace.
Gibon trying to control the position from guard on top but Cooper is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gibon might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Cooper haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Cooper is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gibon is aware though and is defending well.

Gibon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

That was a close second round but I would say that Paddy Cooper will probably get the nod.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dowling loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Stormstoud scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Dowling land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Dowling stands and salutes the crowd.

A very excited looking Kenny Dowling rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
