We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mendez has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The crowd seem to be enjoying NcDemomnd's choice of entrance music: Back in Black. Reeve NcDemomnd struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Carlos Kelvin looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Tavares get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Tavares stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Rogers runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
