We've been hearing good reports from Stevenson's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Stevenson is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Matoshin doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Stevenson crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Stevenson's bad books for that mishap!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Williams takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Gatherer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gatherer just misses with a punch to the body.
Williams missing with a left hand there. Gatherer was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
We've been told by Gatherer's head coaches at *Nelson Fight Camp* that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Gatherer! Williams is out on his feet! Gatherer rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Williams is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Williams is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
