Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Engelbreckt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deangelo Gilmore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Engelbreckt kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is If I had a heart. Alexander Engelbreckt had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The key to victory for Alexander Engelbreckt has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Engelbreckt takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Engelbreckt dives in and scores a takedown into Gilmore's guard. Engelbreckt has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Gilmore looking for a guillotine here but Engelbreckt defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gilmore looking to control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Alexander Engelbreckt. Engelbreckt gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Gilmore. Engelbreckt tries to clinch but Gilmore moves out of range. Engelbreckt changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gilmore looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gilmore is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Engelbreckt off and has taken his back! Gilmore seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Engelbreckt's chin but Engelbreckt turns very nicely into Gilmore's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Engelbreckt.
Gilmore has his foot on Engelbreckt's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Engelbreckt works his way back into a safe position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We've been hearing that Engelbreckt has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Gilmore is desperately trying to improve his position but Engelbreckt has a good base and remains in mount. Gilmore is squirming around, avoiding Engelbreckt's attempts to control the action. Engelbreckt manages to capitalize on a mistake by Gilmore to take his back! Gilmore tries to escape but Engelbreckt has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Engelbreckt biding his time, looking for the opening.

Deangelo Gilmore showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Engelbreckt landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Gilmore tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Engelbreckt presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Gilmore gets back to half guard.

Engelbreckt defending well though.

Gilmore is looking to stall here but Engelbreckt recovers full guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gilmore is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Engelbreckt avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Gilmore working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Gilmore wants to control from the top but Engelbreckt keeps moving. Gilmore passes Engelbreckt's right leg, so he's now in half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that's the end of the fight! Deangelo Gilmore comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Gilmore has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Monroe takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Seaworth pushes Monroe up against the cage in a clinch. Monroe misses with a hook from the clinch. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Seaworth as Monroe tries to tie him up. Seaworth escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Seaworth misses with a right hand and Monroe counters with a three punch combo that has Seaworth backing up. Seaworth nods at Monroe to acknowledge the strikes. Seaworth ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Seaworth moves out of range as Monroe strikes. Seaworth lands with a hook. Monroe tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Monroe takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Monroe tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Seaworth was well out of range. Poor timing from Monroe. Nice shot lands for Seaworth.

Seaworth paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Seaworth shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Monroe manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Monroe working a defensive guard but Seaworth manages to pass into side control anyway.

Ferreira swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Ferreira tries to clinch but fails miserably and Schaeffer counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Ferreira moves to clinch but Schaeffer breaks away and Schaeffer counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Schaeffer looks at the referee who does nothing so Schaeffer lands a crushing right that sends Ferreira to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jamesion is defended easily by Ramirez. Ramirez feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jamesion's calf. Javier Ramirez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ramirez darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Jamesion blocks a head kick by Ramirez.
