0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, George Gifford! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Eliza Hachem and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santos looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Gifford catches Santos with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Gifford lands an overhand right. Santos has a takedown stuffed. Gifford fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Santos on the side of the head. Santos scores with a spinning back kick! Santos shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gifford's guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Gifford is trying to keep Santos in close.
Gifford has momentary wrist control but Santos slips an elbow through the middle. Santos is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Santos preventing the sweep.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Santos closes the distance and pushes Gifford back into the cage. Santos trying to land knees to the body.

Gifford is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Santos is keeping busy. Santos decides to pull guard. Gifford wants to control from the top but Santos keeps moving. Gifford sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Santos doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Gifford paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Santos - great work!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tuivaga scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Salah manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Salah is trying to stand up here but Tuivaga is controlling him well. Salah gets full guard. Salah trying to keep a closed guard but Tuivaga is proving a slippery customer.
Salah lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Tuivaga! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Salah controlling the pace for now. Tuivaga tries to hold on but Salah postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salah sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Salah throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Tuivaga because Salah loaded up on that one. Salah looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Salah trying to control but he's not successful this time. The ref stands the fighters back up. Tupou Tuivaga was stalling too much, according to the referee. Salah closes the distance and clinches up with Tuivaga, looking for a takedown. Salah pushes Tuivaga against the cage but Tuivaga circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Tuivaga misses with a body shot.
Tuivaga shoots in for a double leg but Salah sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Tuivaga looks winded!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tuivaga closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Salah has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Tuivaga is on him like a limpet, forcing Salah back against the cage. Salah manages to break the clinch.
Tuivaga fails with the takedown. Salah throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Tuivaga's head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Salah is looking to clinch. Salah fails with the takedown. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tuivaga darts in looking for a takedown but Salah gets double underhooks and turns Tuivaga into the cage. Salah landing knees to the head.

Salah stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Salah wants it to stay on the feet. Salah fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tuivaga avoids it really well and circles away. Tuivaga displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Salah. Tuivaga throws the kick towards the body but Salah avoids it. Tuivaga fails with a takedown attempt. Tuivaga misses with an attempted mid kick.
Salah changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tuivaga tries to avoid it but Salah manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tuivaga to the ground. Tuivaga escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Muhammed Salah. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Tuivaga is working for takedown but Salah is calmly controlling the position for now. Tuivaga letting Salah take a breather here. Salah pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Salah pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Tuivaga is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tuivaga takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Tuivaga is still on wobbly legs! Can Salah finish him? Salah gets a clinch. Salah breaks from the clinch.
Salah fails with a takedown attempt. Salah shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Tuivaga is on queer street and Salah is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!

Lee manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Lee keeping full guard, as Brown tries to pass. Brown stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lee has his feet on Brown's thighs here. He's pushed Brown off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Brown screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cheong takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Yoshidas scores with a jab to the jaw. Cheong really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Cheong takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Yoshidas takes a swing at Cheong's ribcage but misses. Yoshidas has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Cheong is landing a low percentage of strikes. Yoshidas lands with a shot to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Yoshidas lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Yoshidas throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Cheong colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Yoshidas as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Cheong is left battered and dazed whilst Yoshidas and his camp cheer!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kira has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Down finds it's way round the side to connect with Kira's head. Kira thows a body shot but no joy. Kira misses with a wild body shot. A looping hook to the body misses from Kira. Down does a little dance to reset his feet. A nice combination there by Kira.
Kira doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Kira looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Down thuds a left hand into Kira's body. Down throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kira has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Down is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kira. Kira swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Down ducks under a wild hook from Kira. Kira tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Down jabs at Kira's body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Down throws a looping overhand right but Kira ducks down to avoid it. Down circles away from the clinch attempt.
Down misses the shot to the body. Down definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Down is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kira. Kira throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Down on the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Down circles away from the clinch attempt and Down counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Kira looks winded! Kira takes one to the side of the head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kira. Down does a little dance to reset his feet. Down tries to bum rush Kira with a series of wild strikes but Kira uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Down drops Kira with a straight right hand, right on the button! Down follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kendrik Down! Slyck Kira was interviewed post fight and said 'Oy, what a poof I was! Sorry, mates! Next time! '.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Willow swats away the attempt to clinch by Drake. Drake doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Drake doesn't manage to clinch there - Willow circles away.
Drake tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Willow paws at him with a jab and circles away. Drake swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Willow stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Willow looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. The fight moves into the clinch position. Drake lands an elbow inside. Drake comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Drake lands a right hand that snaps the head of Willow backwards. Drake has Willow pushed against the cage. Drake lands an elbow inside that Willow shrugs off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drake putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Willow in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Drake throws a knee to the head but misses.
Willow pulls guard effortlessly. Drake trying to control but Willow is working from the bottom. Willow has his feet on Drake's thighs here. He's pushed Drake off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Drake screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Red Gym could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Red Gym misses with a wild body shot. Red Gym misses with a right hand and Logins counters with a one-two to the body. The fighters circling - Red Gym throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Red Gym throws an off balance right hand
and Logins counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Red Gym! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Logins takes a little break here. Red Gym wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. It looks like Logins might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Red Gym is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Logins is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

and Logins cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Red Gym lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Logins circles away quickly and effectively. Red Gym works the jab nicely. Red Gym just misses with a punch to the body.
Logins tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Red Gym was well out of range. Poor timing from Logins. Red Gym moves away from the strike by Logins. Red Gym misses with a combination
and Logins decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Red Gym's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Logins makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Red Gym knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Logins on the ground.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Logins stands and steps away. Red Gym gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Logins thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Adios Red Gym has been cut. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Red Gym cracks Logins with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Red Gym swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Logins counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Red Gym thinking. Logins lands a right hook to the body.
A lazy left from Logins finds it's target.
Red Gym is rocked! Logins with a body punch. A glancing blow. Logins throws an overhand right that drops Red Gym like a sack of potatoes! Logins dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
