Tate steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Mack. That one must have hurt.
Mack gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Tate counters with a series of strikes. Mack will be more careful next time no doubt.
Mack tries to clinch there but Tate circles away.
Mack pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tate looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Tate fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mack avoids it really well and circles away.
Tate tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mack sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tate somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Tate. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mack will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
