The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wyatt throws a right hand that Hernandez ducks under and follows up with a left that Hernandez also avoids with ease. Wyatt swings widly with a right hand
and Hernandez counters into the clinch. Nicely done. A nice left hand lands by Hernandez.
Wyatt wants to get back to striking at distance but Hernandez won't allow it.

Vovchanchyn lands with a shot to the body. Ore definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Vovchanchyn jabs Ore to the body, keeping him at a distance. A left and a right from Vovchanchyn both land. Nice combination. Vovchanchyn lands a jab to Ore's midsection. Igor Vovchanchyn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vovchanchyn works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Good exchange - Vovchanchyn coming out on top. The fight stays on the outside here - Ore looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ore is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Anechine crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Von - the referee stops the clock and Anechine gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Von. Anechine manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Anechine is breathing heavily. Anechine takes a head kick and keeps coming.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva takes a swing at Nicholls's ribcage but misses. Silva throws a shot from downtown. Nicholls moves away and avoids it. Silva takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Li scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Li wants to control but Banks is keeping him busy. Banks felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Li tries to score with some ground and pound. Banks controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Banks pushes Li away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Li gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. The strikes coming from Li are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Sloppy strikes there by Li. Banks is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Li asserts his dominance and retains side control. Banks defending against the ground and pound. Banks wants to get back to his feet. Banks is not content to let Li control the position. We've been hearing that Li has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sackett looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sackett! Sackett throwing shots but missing, from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gore checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gore shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sackett's guard. Gore trying to control the position from guard on top but Sackett is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sackett is trying to control the position but Gore postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sackett keeping moving, preventing Gore from controlling successfully. Sackett can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gore controls the pace. Gore slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Sackett is trying to get back to half guard.

He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some bone on bone action there as Mcarthur checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Kaepernick works Mcarthur's body with a nice hook. Mcarthur tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Kaepernick counters with a nice uppercut. Kaepernick closes the distance and clinches. Mcarthur throws a head punch that misses. Kaepernick pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Mcarthur looks to score with a jab to the body but Kaepernick is just out of range. Mcarthur throws a hook to the side of Kaepernick's head but Kaepernick sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Mcarthur throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kaepernick scoring well with a low kick there.
Mcarthur throws out a loose jab but Kaepernick uses good head movement to avoid it. Mcarthur lands the left hand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mcarthur takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Kaepernick fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mcarthur looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Nice jab there from Kaepernick. Kaepernick has closed the distance and engaged Mcarthur in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcarthur has a couple of punches blocked by Kaepernick.
Kaepernick breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kaepernick scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Kaepernick lands a jab to the head.
BOOM! Kaepernick lands a beautiful left hook that drops Mcarthur. Mcarthur tries to recover but Kaepernick is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Mcarthur lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Patch knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Russell avoids the attempt from Patch to control. Russell is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Patch has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Patch!
