After initially coming in at 186.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Patrick has control of Holmes's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Holmes regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Patrick tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pete has managed to clinch.
Pete goes for a takedown attempt but Dean pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Puuha Pete seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
