The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rosa slips a jab and a cross from Hazlehurst.
Hazlehurst misses with a body shot.
Hazlehurst has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Hazlehurst drives through and clinches with Rosa against the cage.
Rosa is looking to control Hazlehurst's arms but Hazlehurst gets an underhook and turns him. Now Rosa has his back to the cage.
Rosa drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hazlehurst pulls his leg out and moves away.

Hazlehurst rushes Rosa and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Hazlehurst escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rosa slips under a jab.
Hazlehurst catches Rosa with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Rosa shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hazlehurst manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Hazlehurst is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rosa is aware though and is defending well.

Hazlehurst is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A looping hook to the body misses from Hazlehurst. Rosa does a little dance to reset his feet.

Hazlehurst clinches up with Rosa and pushes him back against the cage.
Rosa has Hazlehurst pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hazlehurst manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Manga Rosa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hazlehurst takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Rosa is fighting to break Hazlehurst's control of his arms but Hazlehurst is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Hazlehurst has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Rosa has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hazlehurst breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Rosa tries to keep at a distance but Hazlehurst has taken the fight into the clinch.

Hazlehurst shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Rosa eats them both and turns towards Hazlehurst to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Modric's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Behnder connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Modric scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Luca Modric has been cut.
Behnder swings for the body but Modric moves out of range.

Behnder throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Modric tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Behnder is in Modric's guard.
Modric on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Modric tries to get out of the position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Modric throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Modric is striking but Behnder is not phased and passes to half guard.
Behnder has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at 11th Planet Fitness ($100/wk). Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Behnder cracks Modric with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Modric is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big strike lands for Behnder! That's really hurt Modric and he's turned his back - Behnder keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Behnder jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
