Vidic kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kasabian - Club Foot. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Vidic tries to bum rush Penn with a series of wild strikes but Penn uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Vidic lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Vidic cracks Penn with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Penn takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Oooh a lovely combination from Vidic sends Penn down but not out. Vidic dives into side control looking to finish.

It looks like BJ Penn has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Vidic stands up.
Vidic dances in with a quick combination. Penn is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Vidic snaps Penn's head back. Penn stumbles backwards against the cage. Vidic steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Penn's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Penn just didn't come prepared.

Lewis on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Lampard cracks Lewis with a right hand to the side of the head.

Lampard lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Lewis sprawling to the canvas. Lampard follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Lewis hang on?

It looks like Ray Lewis has been cut.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kindle shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jackson's guard.

Jackson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Kindle drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kindle jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jackson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Kindle is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
