Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tenner Brianson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sat Goku! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brianson with a poor takedown and Goku counters with a good low kick that Brianson was not able to check. Goku turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Brianson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Goku. Brianson finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Goku lets loose with a powerful body kick. Brianson will feel that in the morning. Goku connects with a solid leg kick. Brianson with a poor takedown and Goku finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Goku throws a leg kick which misses Brianson's front leg but catches the back leg as Brianson tries to avoid it. Goku feints and then cracks Brianson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Brianson down. Brianson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Goku sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tenner Brianson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brianson throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Brianson has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Goku. Brianson on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Brianson is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Goku chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Brianson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Goku. Goku with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
That's one minute gone in the round. Goku feints and as Brianson raises his hands in defense, Goku changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Brianson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Brianson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Goku. Goku throws a big right hand that misses. Goku loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Goku advances position into side control! Brianson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Goku trying to control the action but Brianson is working from the bottom. Brianson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

He's simply no match for Goku on the ground. Goku tries to score with some ground and pound. Brianson controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Brianson is trying to buck Goku off. This has been an exciting period of action! Goku controls the position from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brianson pushes Goku away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Goku gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Goku in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Brianson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Goku is controlling him well. Goku is looking to take a break and control but Brianson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brianson is trying to buck Goku off. A lull in the action here as Goku stalls from top position. Brianson wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. You can see the frustration on Brianson's face as Goku controls the position. Goku cracks Brianson with a big right hand but Brianson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Brianson tries for a takedown but Goku circles away easily and Goku counters with an inside leg kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brianson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Goku fakes the leg kick and cracks Brianson in the body. Tenner Brianson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Goku is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Goku wants to control from the top but Brianson keeps moving. Brianson can't keep his opponent in guard - Goku advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Goku wants to take a breather but Brianson is having none of it. Goku seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Goku looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Goku lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Goku seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brianson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Brianson is trying to stand.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Brianson tries to get out of the position. Goku wants to control the pace but Brianson is squirming around nicely. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Goku in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Sat Goku showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Goku throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Goku fakes the leg kick and cracks Brianson in the body. Brianson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Goku pinned against the cage. Goku gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Goku lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Goku throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Brianson. Brianson is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Goku buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Brianson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Goku sprawls well. Goku wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brianson gets slowly back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Brianson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Brianson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Brianson throws a leg kick and Goku counters with a nice leg kick. A kick lands to the mid section there for Goku. Brianson tries to clinch but Goku is having none of it. Sat Goku seems to be getting the better of the standup. Goku lands a head kick. Brianson smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Goku shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Goku trying to control from half guard but Brianson is working away.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Brianson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Goku scores with a couple of nice shots. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Goku is controlling the pace.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Goku connects with a nice short shot to Brianson's temple.

And that's the end of the fight! Sat Goku comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Goku has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Dean is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Dean being controlled for a moment. Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Dean is looking to regain half guard here but Gracie keeps moving and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie just content to control the position. Dean tries to improve position but can't. Gracie is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Dean's shoulder. That is not cool. Dean is looking for a sweep. Gracie controlling from side mount. Gracie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dean, who protects the arm well. Dean tries to improve position but can't. Dean is working hard here to advance position. Gracie in side control, just content to control the action for now.

I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Dean looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. A left hand lands to the body for Gracie.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gracie is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Dean has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Gracie is looking to defend but Dean has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Gracie! Dean pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Gracie taps out and this one is all over!

Howard fails in his attempt to clinch. Troeng jabs Howard to the body, keeping him at a distance. Troeng throws a nice looking combination but Howard bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Howard tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Troeng manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Troeng displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Nice takedown defense from Troeng. No joy for Howard on that attempt. Tor Troeng has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Howard.
