Sax looks for a takedown but Dewayne sprawls well.

Dewayne changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sax tries to avoid it but Dewayne manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sax to the ground. Sax escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Bertrand Yof will probably get the nod.

Yof feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Yof perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Yof frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Yof wants to control the pace but Medvedev is squirming around nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Yof cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Medvedev is rocked!

Yof working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Medvedev looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Yof! Submission of the night perhaps?

Smith keeping moving, preventing Porter from controlling successfully.

Porter avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Smith working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Porter doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Porter manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Porter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Smith has his foot on Porter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Porter works his way back into a safe position though.
Porter wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving.

Smith looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Porter is defending well. Smith quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Porter has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Smith celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
