The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punchinson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. McTavish eats them both and turns towards Punchinson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
McTavish throws a lazy right hand but Punchinson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
McTavish takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
McTavish looks to land a combination but Punchinson avoids it well.

McTavish rushes Punchinson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
McTavish lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
McTavish will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Punchinson up against the cage.
McTavish wants to break the clinch but can't.
Punchinson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Punchinson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but McTavish gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Punchinson keeps control of McTavish as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

McTavish breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Punchinson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Punchinson lands in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McTavish has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Punchinson has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

McTavish slows down the pace here.

McTavish breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
McTavish rushes Punchinson with punches - Punchinson moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Punchinson goes down! McTavish follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Silva is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Scott.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wojtk is defended easily by Whitman.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Whitman enables Wojtk to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Whitman manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
