The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Briggs misses the shot to the body. King shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Briggs counters by moving into the clinch. Briggs is trying to stall.
King has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Briggs regains guard immediately. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. King lying in Briggs's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Briggs decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! King taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big right from Dragov misses. Dragov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jermery looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Dragov! Dragov has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Jermery scoring with punches from side control. Dragov tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jermery wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Jermery looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Jermery is trying to get an arm triangle but Dragov is defending well. Dragov wants to control but Jermery postures up. Dragov is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Dragov manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jermery is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dragov defends it well. Jermery wants to control but Dragov is keeping him busy. Jermery moves into full mount! Dragov won't be happy about that! Dragov tries to improve his position but Jermery has taken his back! Jermery has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Dragov tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Jermery pushes Dragov away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mendes ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Torres swinging wildly here.
Mendes shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Torres counters with a two punch combo. Torres feints and as Mendes raises his hands in defense, Torres changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mendes is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Torres looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Torres trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Torres seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Torres wants to control from the top but Mendes keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Torres postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Mendes pulls Torres in close to prevent any damage.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Marty Mendes hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Mendes looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Torres is fending him off so far but Mendes persists. Nope, Torres circles away and we're back to standing. Marty Mendes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mendes shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Torres as he jumps to the side. Skip Torres has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marty Mendes. Nice sprawl there from Torres as Mendes shoots in. Mendes shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Torres's guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Skip Torres wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Torres pivots, looking for a leg kick but Mendes is out of range and Torres settles back down.

Torres is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Mendes is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Mendes has escaped and now he's on top! Torres working a defensive guard here.
Torres has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mendes can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Torres looking for a sweep. Not yet Torres, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Torres not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Torres trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Torres preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Torres wants to sweep but no luck. Mendes trying to control the position from guard on top but Torres is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Torres looking for a guillotine here but Mendes defends easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Torres wants to improve his position but instead Mendes has moved into half guard.

Torres looks to land a combination but Mendes avoids it well. Torres throws a low kick but Mendes moves out of range easily. Torres throws a nice inside leg kick. Torres tries to close the distance and clinch but Mendes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Mendes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Mendes looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Torres is pressing down on Mendes's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Torres is trying to control the position but Mendes postures up. Mendes works a leg free and moves into half guard. Torres tries to get to full guard but Mendes has control of the leg. Skip Torres overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Mendes is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mendes is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Torres has managed to free his arm - good work. Mendes blocks the strikes from Torres.
Torres gets back to full guard.
Torres controls Mendes momentarily but Mendes frees himself. Torres throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mendes trying to control but Torres is working from the bottom. Torres is trying to control the position but Mendes postures up. Torres throws his legs up looking for a submission but Mendes uses it to pass to side control.
Torres manages to get back to half guard. Torres is trying to get back to full guard. Mendes wants to take a breather but Torres is having none of it. Mendes tries to pass the half guard into mount. Torres knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Torres controlling the position for now. Torres is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Mendes jumps into side control! Torres gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Mendes trying to control but Torres is having none of it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mendes might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Torres haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Marty Mendes will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Torres rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mendes moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Mendes shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Torres as he jumps to the side. Mendes slips a jab and a cross from Torres.
Torres throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Mendes tries for a takedown but Torres circles away easily and Torres counters with a head kick. That will keep Mendes thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Torres punishes Mendes's body with a nice straight punch. Torres closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mendes circles away. Torres rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mendes moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Torres is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mendes sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mendes keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Torres. Mendes shoots in for a double leg but Torres sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Skip Torres has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marty Mendes. Mendes shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mendes showed some decent athleticism there. Torres actively working from the bottom here. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Torres wants to get back to full guard. Torres is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Mendes seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Torres has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Mendes manages to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mendes is trying to get back to full guard. Mendes is still trying to improve position. Well, if Torres is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

and Castro counters with a low kick, right behind Fine 's knee. Fine shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Castro counters with a nice leg kick. Fine throws a half hearted mid kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fine misses with an uppercut
and Castro counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Fine takes one to the chin there. Fine is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Castro. Fine's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Castro throws a lazy right hand but Fine sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fine misses with a body shot.

That was a close second round but I would say that Giovani Castro will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

A good leg kick by Castro. Fine checks a low kick from Castro. Fine closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Castro uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fine. Fine closes the distance and clinches up with Castro, looking for a takedown. Fine pushes Castro against the cage but Castro circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Chouncheun manages to end up in side control. Chouncheun sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Kurucz is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Chouncheun wants to control but Kurucz is keeping him busy. Chouncheun stands up and we're back to a striking position. Chouncheun throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A punch lands to the side of Kurucz 's head but he takes it in his stride. Chouncheun cracks the inside of Kurucz's front leg. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kurucz looks to land a combination. Chouncheun sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Timpurhkhum Chouncheun is winning the standup battle so far.

Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Kurucz falls to his knees and Chouncheun doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Timpurhkhum Chouncheun! A very excited looking Timpurhkhum Chouncheun rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sun instigates a clinch. Sun trying to control the position but instead, Turris has worked for underhooks and has pushed Sun into the cage. Sun will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Turris up against the cage. Turris has Sun pressed against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Turris blocks the elbow strike.
Sun's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Sun lands a good knee to the midsection. Turris won't want to take too many of those.

Sun was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Nice sprawl there from Sun as Turris shoots in. Turris might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Turris shoots in for a takedown but Sun shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Wei Sun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyle Turris. Turris takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
