The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Acid. Acid wants to clinch and Tang counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Acid shoots in for a takedown but Tang shows good takedown defense. Acid wants to clinch and Tang counters with a lovely shot to the body. Acid lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tang circles away quickly and effectively. Acid closes the distance looking to clinch and Tang counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good work by Trout as he checks the leg kick. Trout lands with a shot to the body. Trout takes the fight into the clinch. Murtag connects with a nasty looking knee right to Trout's face.
Trout tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Trout is working for takedown but Murtag is calmly controlling the position for now. Trout escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Trout is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Murtag wants to slow Trout down by chopping away at his legs. Murtag misses with a wild combination.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallace throws a nice looking combination but Therm bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Therm moves out of range of the body kick from Wallace.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rytkonen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Koutras moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Koutras dodges the punch combination from Rytkonen.

and Koutras counters with a three punch combo that has Rytkonen backing up. Rytkonen nods at Koutras to acknowledge the strikes. A momentary lapse in concentration from Rytkonen enables Koutras to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rytkonen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Koutras stays in close to Rytkonen's body and controls the position. Rytkonen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Koutras avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Koutras gets to his feet. Rytkonen looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rytkonen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jouni Rytkonen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacinto Koutras. Rytkonen throws a right hand that misses
and Koutras counters with a nice uppercut. Koutras moves out of range of the strikes. Rytkonen throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Koutras counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Koutras. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A right handed body shot lands from Rytkonen.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Koutras shoots in for a takedown but Rytkonen shows good takedown defense. Good shot there by Rytkonen. Koutras takes a jab right on the kisser.
And that's the end of the fight! Jacinto Koutras comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Koutras has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 43 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Jaromir Jag! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rowan Stevenson! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevenson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jag swivels and escapes. Stevenson feints and as Jag raises his hands in defense, Stevenson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Stevenson's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Stevenson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Stevenson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Jag is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stevenson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Jag wants to stand up but Stevenson is controlling him. Stevenson advances to half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stevenson works his way into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stevenson controls the position from side control. Stevenson looks up at the clock and then as Jag takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Stevenson smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The referee asks Stevenson politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Stevenson prefers to stall for the moment though. Jag tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jag squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stevenson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Stevenson scoring with strikes but Jag is staying in there. Jag trying desperately to get to his feet.
Stevenson softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Jag is out cold! Stevenson jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rowan Stevenson! Rowan Stevenson is the new bantamweight champion!
