2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Benny Thompson! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thompson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Thompson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Roberts checks a leg kick. Roberts throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Thompson's head.
It looks like Benny Thompson has been cut. Thompson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Roberts. Roberts moves out of range of the body kick. Thompson swinging wildly here.
Thompson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Roberts connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Thompson walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Roberts checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Thompson on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Roberts throws a series of punches but Thompson moves out of range. Thompson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Thompson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Roberts.

A punch combination from Roberts misses. Thompson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Thompson is rocked! Thompson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thompson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Roberts circles away quickly and effectively. Whack! Roberts lands a heavy head kick that drops Thompson. The ref tackles Roberts to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Thompson was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Joey Ryan Roberts! Joey Ryan Roberts was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kong misses with a lunging right hand
and Christ connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like King Kong has been cut. Kong misses with a hook. Kong throws a right hand that misses
and Christ counters with a lovely shot to the body. Kong jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kong avoids the body shot from Christ.
Christ ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Christ misses with a straight right. Kong moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Kong definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Kong slips under a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kong takes a swing at Christ's ribcage but misses. Kong looks to land a left hand but Christ moved out of range nicely. Christ looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Christ scores with a hook to the body. Kong takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Christ moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Kong keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Kong connects with a body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Christ misses with a hook. Kong ducked under it nicely. Christ moves out of range of the strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Nice cross by Christ. Christ moves out of range of the strikes. Kong throws the left hand but Christ avoids the punch easily. Christ bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kong's head backwards. Christ displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kong throws out the jab. Kong misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Christ.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oooooh!!! Christ has knocked Kong down with a huge combo! Christ steps away and waves a wobbly Kong back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kong smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Christ grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Kong takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Christ cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jesus Christ! Jesus Christ very nearly forgot to thank Pinoy Fightwear (90% Laundry) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mean Machine! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Joseph Jones and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Monster fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Monster scores with a hook to the body. Machine takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Machine misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Monster shoots in looking for a takedown but Machine manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Monster's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Monster shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Giant Monster. That's going to take a lot out of him. Monster shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Machine counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Monster working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Machine. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Machine trying to control but Monster is working from the bottom. Machine slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Machine tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Machine has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The ground and pound from Machine seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Machine looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Machine advances to mount. Monster is trying to escape the mount.
Machine takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Monster is looking to get to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Machine wants to control the pace but Monster is squirming around nicely. Monster can't escape the position.
Machine looking to ground and pound but Monster is blocking nicely. Machine can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Monster is looking to escape. Machine looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Monster is working to get back to half guard.
Machine trying to control but he's not successful this time. Monster holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Machine tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Poor strikes thrown by Machine there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Machine moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Monster has worked his arm free - good work by Monster!
Monster is looking to regain half guard here but Machine keeps moving and retains side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Monster struggling a bit here. Monster holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Machine misses with the ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Monster is looking for a sweep. Monster knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Machine on the ground. Machine wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Monster, who protects the arm well. Monster is looking to regain half guard here but Machine keeps moving and retains side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mean Machine dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Monster has Machine up against the cage in a clinch.
Machine tries to pull guard but Monster holds him up against the cage and eventually Machine drops back down to his feet.

Monster wants to stand up but Machine is controlling him. Monster wants to improve his position but instead Machine has moved into half guard.
Machine trying to pass the guard but Monster defending well. Machine is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's one minute gone in the round. Monster is in trouble now - Machine has advanced to mount! Monster sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Monster is staying active underneath Machine, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Monster tries to get to full guard but Machine has control of the leg. Machine wants to take a breather but Monster is having none of it. Monster has a hand on Machine's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Machine takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Machine looking to control and managing it successfully. Monster is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Machine controlling his opponent. Machine throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Machine trying to control but Monster is having none of it. Machine content just to control the position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Machine can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Monster is looking to escape. Machine thowing shots but they're missing. Machine working for a guillotine from mount but Monster is in no mood to give up. Monster reaches up to try and control the position but Machine seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Monster rolls and tries to escape and now Machine has his back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Machine misses with an elbow to the head. Monster covering up well under a series of strikes from Machine. Monster is trying to break free.
Machine is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Monster is defending well though. Machine let's go of the attempt for now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Machine missing with strikes. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Monster is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mean Machine showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Machine looking to score a takedown here. Monster is defending well but Machine drives through and ends up in Monster's guard. Monster is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Monster controlling the position. Machine controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Machine pushes down on Monster's leg and manages to get into half guard. Machine is pressing down on Monster's thigh, looking to free his foot. Monster is holding on for now. Machine sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Monster defending well though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Machine throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Machine is working for a submission of some sort.
Machine looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Machine wants to lay and pray for a moment but Monster keeps working. Machine not landing any meaningful shots this time. Monster is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Monster is not content to let Machine control the position. Machine stands up out of the half guard. Machine displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Monster. Machine tries to clinch and Monster counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Machine is pressed up against the cage. Monster has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Machine down to the mat. Machine avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Monster looks to land a combination but Machine avoids it well. Machine fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Nice takedown defense from Monster. No joy for Machine on that attempt. The fight stays on the outside here - Machine looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Machine has a takedown stuffed. Giant Monster has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mean Machine. Monster gets a clinch. Monster lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Machine or not. Monster escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Monster stuffs the takedown attempt from Machine. Machine gets slowly back to his feet. Monster gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Machine moves into the clinch. Machine tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Monster smiles and moves away.
Machine shoots for a takedown but Monster saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Machine takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Machine closes this distance looking for a takedown but Monster circles away. Machine is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Monster avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Machine leaves Monster with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Machine slaps away a takedown attempt from Monster, before circling back to the center of the mat. Monster moves out of range of the body kick. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Monster looks to land a combination but Machine avoids it well. Giant Monster has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mean Machine is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. A bone on bone clash there as Machine blocks the leg kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Mean Machine comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Machine winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Let's see if Tyson can do anything to dispel that myth. Hogan lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Hogan postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hogan scoring with punches to the head and body.
Tyson is rocked! Hogan prevents Tyson from getting back to his feet. Tyson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hogan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tyson looks winded! Hogan scoring with punches to the head and body. Tyson is still in real trouble! Can Hogan finish him? Hogan postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Tyson covers up, he's hurt! Hogan keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Hogan and the ref steps in to end the fight! Hogan can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Bomb misses with a series of wild punches.
Bomb misses with a takedown and Rambo counters with a single leg into guard. Bomb didn't expect that. Rambo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Rambo postures up in Bomb's guard and throws a big left but Bomb blocks it. Bomb is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Bomb is nestled in close to Rambo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Rambo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bomb looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rambo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Rambo avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bomb.
