Quinn throws a lazy head kick

and Clothes counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Clothes postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Quinn is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Clothes, into his guard.

Clothes is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
We've been hearing that Quinn has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giatay shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Savage but Savage pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Savage lands a slapping body shot.
Giatay changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Savage tries to avoid it but Giatay manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Savage to the ground. Savage escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Giatay shoots in for a takedown but Savage shows good takedown defense.
Billy Savage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dr Ahak Giatay.

Giatay takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Savage plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Giatay to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Giatay just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Okami gets caught flat footed, as Jones shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Okami wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment.

Jones is in close to Okami's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Okami bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard.

McPhee cracks a nice hook into Elbe's ribs.

They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Lee hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
