Calaway's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, R.I.P.. Ding has chosen Mortal Kombat as his entrance music. Mark Calaway has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calaway ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ding moves away.

Calaway wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ding uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Calaway.
Calaway keeps the fight on the outside.
Ding is looking to clinch but Calaway is avoiding it.
Calaway connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Calaway throws a hook to the side of Ding's head but Ding sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

I think Nawrocki might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kanye West - Amazing. Bambang has chosen Suicidal Tendencies - Nobody Hears as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Zapata has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Zapata throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Saruwatari's waist but Saruwatari gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zapata off to one side.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Brock has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Brock closes the distance and clinches up with Waterson, looking for a takedown. Brock pushes Waterson against the cage but Waterson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Waterson takes one to the chin there.
Brock lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Brock finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Waterson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Barracks - LOD in the buildup to the fight.
