Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Burley Haines! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A bone on bone clash there as Williams blocks the leg kick.
Haines has Williams up against the cage in a clinch.
Haines ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Haines no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Haines is trying to keep Williams in close.
Williams trying to control but Haines is working from the bottom. Haines utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Haines pushes a forearm under Williams's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Williams is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bill tries to clinch there but Kulot circles away.
Bill instigates a clinch. Knees in the clinch landing for Bill.
Kulot jumps guard but Bill turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Kulot tries to pull guard but Bill won't allow it.
Bill landing knees to the head.
It looks like Don Kulot has been cut. Kulot tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don Kulot. That's going to take a lot out of him. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bill creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Kulot jumps guard but Bill turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Bill stalling the fight.
Kulot tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kulot fails to pull guard.
Bill lands a nice uppercut. Kulot jumps guard but Bill turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. A knee to the head by Bill.

Kulot is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bill to keep the fight standing. Kulot is breathing heavily. Kulot jumps guard but Bill turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Kulot is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Bill is defending well. Bill drops Kulot with a big knee straight up the middle! Kulot is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Kulot is rocked! Kulot tries to keep at a distance but Bill has taken the fight into the clinch. Oh Kulot is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kulot looking for a takedown. Bill has Kulot pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Kulot is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Bill - that's hurt Kulot badly! Oh, another knee lands and Kulot is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Kulot doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Buffalo Bill! In his post fight interview, Buffalo Bill gave a big smile as he said 'It puts the lotion on the skin or else it gets the hose again . You lost to the eventual winner of the tournament, don't feel bad. I'm gonna go home, mount my wife and drink some johnny walker red! Cheers!
