The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blumpkin shoots for a takedown but Timmermans saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Blumpkin fails with a takedown attempt. Blumpkin shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Blumpkin was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Blumpkin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Timmermans is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Blumpkin trying to control the action but Timmermans is working from the bottom. Timmermans parries the strikes from Blumpkin easily there. Blumpkin is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Timmermans to escape.

That's one minute gone in the round. Timmermans is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Blumpkin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Timmermans keeps working. Blumpkin in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Timmermans tries to escape but Blumpkin is in control. Blumpkin tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Blumpkin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Timmermans is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Blumpkin is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Timmermans has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Timmermans is trying to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Blumpkin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Blumpkin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Blumpkin tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Timmermans wants to get back to his feet but Blumpkin drags him back down. Timmermans parries the strikes from Blumpkin easily there. Blumpkin is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Timmermans to escape.
Timmermans really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blumpkin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Blumpkin is trying to get an arm triangle but Timmermans is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blumpkin controls the position. An elbow from Blumpkin crashes against the mat.
Blumpkin passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Timmermans! Blumpkin throws some wild stikes that Timmermans manages to avoid easily.
Blumpkin thowing shots but they're missing. Blumpkin looking to ground and pound but Timmermans is blocking nicely. Blumpkin is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Timmermans is forced to tap! Great finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Pinphet. Nova shrugs it off though. Nova looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Pinphet scores with a leg kick.
No joy there for Nova, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pinphet scores with a nice right hand.
It looks like Silas Nova has been cut. Nova misses with a combination
and Pinphet counters with a good low kick that Nova was not able to check. Horrible takedown by Nova or perhaps it was just good defense by Pinphet which made him look bad. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pinphet lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Nova looks winded! Nova tries to bum rush Pinphet with a series of wild strikes but Pinphet uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pinphet lets loose with a powerful body kick. Nova will feel that in the morning. Pinphet drops Nova with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Nova looks back up at him and smiles so Pinphet waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Pinphet throws a shot to the body.
Nova walks forward, straight into a front kick from Pinphet. A chopping leg kick lands by Pinphet. The fighters circle, before Pinphet throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Nova's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Pinphet lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Suriya Pinphet! A very excited looking Suriya Pinphet rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson fails with a takedown attempt. Smiff moves into the clinch. Smiff stops a takedown attempt from Wilson.
Smiff has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Wilson regains guard immediately. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Wilson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Smiff distracts Wilson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Wilson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Smiff. Smiff trying to control the position from guard on top but Wilson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Smiff is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Wilson keeping moving, preventing Smiff from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Smiff's guard. Smiff looking for a sweep. Not yet Smiff, not yet. Smiff looking for a triangle here. Wilson is fighting it but it looks tight! Smiff pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Wilson is tapping out - this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weidman scores with a push kick. Weidman goes for a double leg but Toron avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Toron continues to drive forward. Toron escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Toron moves into range and clinches up with Weidman. Toron gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Weidman regains guard.
Toron is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Weidman looking for a guillotine here but Toron defends easily.

Toron makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Toron wants to control from the top but Weidman keeps moving. Weidman will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Weidman felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Toron slows the pace down. Toron definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Weidman is looking to reverse the position. Toron just content to control the position. Toron cracks Weidman with a big right hand but Weidman just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Weidman is looking to regain half guard here but Toron keeps moving and retains side control. Weidman gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Toron lands a heavy elbow. Toron is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Weidman can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Toron landing strikes from the mount. Weidman is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Toron controlling his opponent. Toron raining down shots from the mount! Toron raining down hammerfists from mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Toron cracks Weidman with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jones Toron! After winning the bout, Jones Toron thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Stoops ducks under a wild hook from Washington. Washington misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

A left and a right from Stoops both land. Nice combination. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Washington moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Stoops avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Washington drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stoops manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Washington has Stoops in his guard. Stoops decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Washington, up you get! Stoops misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Stoops gets a double leg takedown into Washington's guard. Stoops has gone for a leg lock! Washington slips out almost immediately though and dives into Stoops's guard. Stoops is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stoops is looking for a kimura but Washington is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Stoops to get the leverage. Stoops winds up and cracks Washington with a swinging punch to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Gabriel Washington will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Bradley Stoops's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Stoops closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Stoops wants to get back to striking at distance but Washington won't allow it.

Washington is struggling to control the position. Washington throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Washington misses with a hook to the ribs.
Washington trying to control the position but instead, Stoops has worked for underhooks and has pushed Washington into the cage. Stoops has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Washington seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Stoops can turn it around. Washington manages to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stoops takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Washington bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Stoops's head backwards. Washington throws an off balance right hand
and Stoops counters with a left and a right that stings Washington. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stoops on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Washington works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Washington is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. The fight stays on the outside here - Washington looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Washington throws a looping overhand right but Stoops ducks down to avoid it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Washington misses with a left hand and Stoops counters with a lovely shot to the body. Stoops takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Stoops uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Washington. Washington thows a body shot but no joy. Gabriel Washington is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Washington lands a nice hook to Stoops's body. Stoops takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Washington lunges at Stoops with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Stoops's hand. Stoops throws a big shot that misses. Washington lands with a straight right. Stoops didn't see that one coming.
Stoops is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stoops drops his hands for a split second and Washington immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Stoops face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Washington follows up with a right hand that knocks Stoops into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Jaworski. No joy for Goon on that attempt. Goon with a poor takedown enabling Jaworski to counter with a crisp jab. Goon fails with the takedown and Jaworski counters with a nice uppercut. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Goon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Goon drives through with a takedown into Jaworski's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Goon showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Jaworski can't keep his opponent in guard - Goon advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Goon is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's one minute gone in the round. Goon has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. We've been hearing good reports from Goon's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
We're going to have a standup here because Johnny Goon wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Goon shoots and misses and Jaworski makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Jaworski has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Goon is landing a low percentage of strikes. Goon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jaworski as he avoids it easily. Goon dives in and scores a takedown into Jaworski's guard. Jaworski keeping moving, preventing Goon from controlling successfully. Goon not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Goon working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jaworski's head. Jaworski avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Goon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Goon working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Goon content to stall in guard here.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Johnny Goon just wasn't active enough. Goon fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jaworski to the ground. Goon is now in Jaworski's guard. Jaworski being controlled here, momentarily. Jaworski preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Goon dominated that round. That's time! Goon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Goon. Goon misses with a takedown attempt - Jaworski sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rickarderson lands a high kick to the side of Fatu's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Rickarderson dives into guard, looking to finish.
It looks like Eddie Fatu has been cut. Fatu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rickarderson landing some decent shots from guard. Rickarderson postures up in Fatu's guard and throws a big left but Fatu blocks it. Fatu not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Rickarderson gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Rickarderson tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Fatu is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Rickarderson buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Rickarderson!! Rickarderson is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Fatu throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
