Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kurt Gollum! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robinson Mina! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mina throws a sloppy head kick and Gollum moves out of range easily. Mina dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Mina lands a nice shot to the body.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Mina. Gollum shrugs it off though. Mina throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Gollum's head. Mina lands a nice leg kick that just misses Gollum's sensitive parts. Gollum shoots and misses and Mina counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Gollum is lucky that one didn't land flush. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mina scores with a decent looking hook. Gollum tries to clinch and Mina counters with a solid body kick. Mina connects with a nice looking jab.
A nice inside leg kick there by Mina. That's going to slow Gollum down. Gollum doesn't succeed with the takedown and Mina counters with an outside leg kick.
Gollum wants to clinch up but Mina keeps it at a distance. Gollum tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mina swats him away and circles back towards the center. We've been informed that Mina has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Gollum shoots and misses and Mina connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kurt Gollum. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mina lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mina keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mina throws a nice inside leg kick. Gollum really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Mina connects with an inside leg kick. Gollum stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mina. Mina throws a head kick that Gollum semi-blocks.
Gollum is rocked! Mina turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Mina throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gollum stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Mina throws a front kick that sends Gollum stumbling back into the cage. Gollum is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mina fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gollum. Gollum walks forward, straight into a front kick from Mina. Robinson Mina is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Gollum takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Mina lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Jab by Mina. Gollum takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mina lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Mina throws a nice outside leg kick. Mina fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Gollum stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mina. Mina throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Gollum's head. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mina.
A left lands for Mina. Oh Gollum is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Mina fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Gollum seems to have got his legs back now. Mina buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mina.
Mina turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Gollum. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Mina connects with an inside leg kick. Mina feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Gollum's calf. Mina scores with a head kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A slapping body kick lands there for Mina. Mina lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Robinson Mina seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mina with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Mina throws a monster overhand right that drops Gollum! Mina follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tammer rushes Timber and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Tammer blocks an uppercut.
Timber will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Tammer up against the cage. A nice glancing elbow lands by Timber.
It looks like Gi Tammer has been cut. Tammer fails to pull guard.
Tammer looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Tammer working hard to break the clinch. Tammer on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Tammer pulls guard effortlessly. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Timber wants to stand but Tammer is controlling his posture from full guard. Timber trying to control but Tammer is working from the bottom. Tammer has a closed guard, preventing Timber from standing up. Tammer looking for a sweep. Not yet Tammer, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tammer avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Tammer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Timber wants to control from the top but Tammer keeps moving. Tammer has Timber pulled in close to control his posture.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Timber shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Timber wanted to stand there but Tammer had control of the position. Timber drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tammer dives on top into guard. Tammer decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Timber fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tammer, pushing him back against the cage. Timber with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

A shot in the inside from Timber. Tammer wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Timber lands a damaging elbow. Timber with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Timber stalls. Tammer looks to throw an elbow but misses. Timber lands an elbow just above Tammer 's eye.

Timber's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Timber lands a good knee to the midsection. Tammer won't want to take too many of those. Timber tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Tammer avoids it. Tammer blocks an uppercut.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Lim Timber. Tammer instigates a clinch. Timber gets control of Tammer's arms and successfully pulls guard. Timber will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Timber wants to sweep but no luck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tammer tries to free his leg and advance position but Timber is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Timber is working an open guard so Tammer takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Tammer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Timber.
Timber throws an overhand right that lands on Tammer's shoulder, as Tammer tries to avoid the shot. Tammer forces Timber back against the cage and clinches. Timber tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Timber tries to work over Tammer's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Tammer drops down looking for an ankle pick but Timber pulls his leg out and moves away.
Gi Tammer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Timber closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tammer to the mat! Tammer manages to get full guard. Tammer keeping moving, preventing Timber from controlling successfully. Timber is really struggling to control Tammer but he's trying to hold on to the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Tammer is trying to keep Timber in close.
Lim Timber overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Lim Timber just wasn't active enough. Tammer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Timber as he jumps to the side. This has been an exciting period of action! Tammer misses with the combination.
Timber takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Timber shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Timber won't allow Tammer to get back to his feet. Tammer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Timber is one step ahead there.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Timber shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tammer napping and manages to drive through into side control! Timber tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Tammer stops Timber from passing to mount. Tammer is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Timber off and has taken his back! Tammer just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Tammer has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Tammer is hanging on to Timber's back as he tries to escape.

First Soul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Soul fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Vettel looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Soul wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Soul lands a jab to Vettel's midsection. Soul lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Soul escapes and throws Vettel's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Vettel regains half guard there - taking advantage of Soul's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Vettel is trying to maintain the position but Soul is very close to passing his half guard. Soul wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vettel keeps working. Vettel looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Soul seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Nick Vettel has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! First Soul is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Soul stuns Vettel with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! First Soul comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Soul has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
