1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Petr Dionys! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Eddie Farnsworth and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dionys buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Smith fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dionys, pushing him back against the ropes. Dionys has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Dionys wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Smith has him pressed against the ropes. Dionys wants to break the clinch but can't.
Dionys trying to control the position but instead, Smith has worked for underhooks and has pushed Dionys into the ropes. Smith has Dionys pressed against the ropes, preventing Dionys from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Dionys looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Dionys throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Smith blocks it with crossed arms. Smith keeps control of Dionys as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Dionys escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Smith closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dionys did well to prevent Smith getting side control. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Well, if Smith is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dionys is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McLennan misses with a series of wild punches.

McLennan tries to clinch but fails miserably and Yody counters with a straight right hand. Oooooh!!! McLennan has knocked Yody down with a huge combo! McLennan steps away and waves a wobbly Yody back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McLennan wants to clinch and Yody counters with a stiff right hand. Yody looking to score a takedown here. McLennan is defending well but Yody drives through and ends up in McLennan's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. McLennan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Yody must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Yody throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as McLennan works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Yody throws a big right hand that misses. Yody pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McLennan is keeping the position for now. McLennan wants to stand and escape but Yody is having none of it.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Yody connects with a nice short shot to McLennan's temple. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nice strikes from Yody there. Yody really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McLennan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. McLennan wants to get back to full guard. McLennan tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Yody slips a nice elbow through McLennan's hands, connecting with McLennan's forehead. Yody stalling. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Yody looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McLennan is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.

A big right followed by a crushing left from McLennan knocks Yody out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

Crash can't find room to land a body shot as White controls the action.

It looks like Jamal White has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. White get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. White stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the ropes but Crash runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
