4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jason Scott! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andersen with a poor takedown and Scott counters with a series of strikes. Andersen will be more careful next time no doubt. Andersen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Andersen with a lazy takedown attempt and Scott counters with a nice double leg into side control. Andersen won't be happy with that. Andersen manages to get back to half guard. Andersen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Scott pulls his head out easily. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Scott working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Andersen looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Scott working Andersen over with strikes. Andersen actively working from the bottom here. Scott looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. This has been an exciting period of action! Nice strikes from Scott there. Scott really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Andersen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Andersen is staying active underneath Scott, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Andersen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Scott's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Scott's back! Andersen misses with punches from the back. Scott rolls, trying to escape but Andersen keeps control of the position.
Andersen misses with a punch to the head. Andersen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andersen looking to finish the fight with a rear naked choke. Scott is controlling Andersen 's left arm and he spins nicely into guard. Scott not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Scott pushes down on Andersen's leg and manages to get into half guard. Scott is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Andersen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Scott pulls his head out easily. Andersen looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Scott wants to stand up but Andersen is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Andersen has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Scott. Oh but Andersen has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Scott goes limp - he's gone! Andersen jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A good leg kick by Armstrong. Pride ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Armstrong moves away. Armstrong tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pride was well out of range. Poor timing from Armstrong. Armstrong throws a nice outside leg kick. Armstrong listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Pride throws a good cross that connects.
Pride misses with a leg kick. Pride throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Armstrong misses with a straight right. Pride is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Armstrong scores with the left hand. Pride knows he should have avoided that one. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pride takes a swing at Armstrong's ribcage but misses. Pride misses with a low kick as Armstrong jumps back. Pride throws a nice looking combination but Armstrong bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Pride listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Armstrong scores with a jab to the head.
Armstrong misses the jab. Pride uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Armstrong. Armstrong slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Armstrong takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A punch combination from Pride misses. Armstrong lands a nice leg kick that just misses Pride's sensitive parts. Armstrong throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pride sees it coming and avoids it easily. Armstrong definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Armstrong swings for the body but Pride moves out of range.
Armstrong missing with a left hand there. Pride was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Pride digs a good body shot into Armstrong's ribs. Armstrong takes the fight into the clinch. Nice body punch from Pride - that landed with a thud.

Pride lands a hook that snaps the head of Armstrong backwards. Armstrong's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Pride lands a shoulder strike.

Geeves Armstrong dominated that round. That's time! Armstrong's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Pride throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Armstrong's jab looks to have found its range, popping Pride under the eye. Pride tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Armstrong was well out of range. Poor timing from Pride. Armstrong throws a shot from downtown. Pride moves away and avoids it. Pride thows a body shot but no joy. Armstrong looks to throw the jab but Pride is out of range. Armstrong looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Pride throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Pride with a body punch. A glancing blow. Armstrong moves into range and connects with a jab. A low kick from Pride misses and Armstrong finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Pride lands with a straight right. Armstrong didn't see that one coming. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sloppy strikes from Pride. Those never looked like landing. Pride displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Armstrong throws out the jab. Pride has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Armstrong. Pride lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Armstrong lands with a kick to the ribs.

Pride is breathing heavily. Pride scores with a jab. Armstrong acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Armstrong misses with a looping right. Pride takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Pride has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Armstrong wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Armstrong throws out a loose jab but Pride uses good head movement to avoid it. Abel Pride is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pride misses the shot to the body. Pride swings away with a body shot that misses
and Armstrong counters with an inside leg kick. Armstrong lands a jab to the nose. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Armstrong explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Armstrong moves out of range as Pride throws a body kick.
Pride has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Armstrong scores with a jab. Pride acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Armstrong feints and then cracks Pride's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pride down. Pride on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Armstrong cracks Pride with a right hand to the side of the head. Pride uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Armstrong. Armstrong connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Armstrong fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Armstrong fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pride manages to avoid it. Armstrong ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Armstrong scores with a jab to the jaw.
Pride is rocked! That kick from Armstrong tenderised Pride's leg. Pride is trying to keep his angry face on. Pride is still on wobbly legs! Can Armstrong finish him? Armstrong cracks Pride on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Pride falls backwards against the cage. Armstrong follows up with more strikes that drop Pride to his knees. Armstrong keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Pride! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Geeves Armstrong! An out of breath Geeves Armstrong thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.

Walker avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Walker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Savish moves away. Walker on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Savish throws a hook but Walker avoids it easily. Walker uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Savish. Savish lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Walker backs up against the cage.
It looks like Kirk Walker has been cut. Walker fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Walker shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Savish pinned against the cage. Savish gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Walker slips under a jab from Savish. Walker goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Walker swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Leto Savish seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Walker takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A looping hook to the body misses from Savish. Walker does a little dance to reset his feet. Savish throws a leg kick but Walker moved away. Savish swings away with a body shot that misses
and Walker counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Walker moves into the clinch. Walker tries for a takedown. No joy.

Savish working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Walker. Walker looking to sit in guard and control but Savish gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Savish in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Savish trying to stand up but can't free himself from Walker's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Walker preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Walker wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Walker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Walker tries to get out of the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Kirk Walker wasn't doing enough on the ground. Walker shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Savish as he avoids it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Walker on the wrong end of a nice hook. Savish throws a lazy right hand but Walker sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Walker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Savish circles away quickly and effectively. Walker closes the distance and clinches up with Savish, looking for a takedown. Walker pushes Savish against the cage but Savish circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Walker on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Walker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Savish misses with a straight right. Savish throws an overhand right that lands on Walker's shoulder, as Walker tries to avoid the shot. Leto Savish is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Savish sizes up Walker with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Savish lands the left hand.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Putting misses with a few strikes there.
Penn has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Penn there as he acknowledges the shot. Putting is looking to clinch. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Putting has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. A left and a right from Putting both land. Nice combination. Putting tries to clinch but Penn moves out of range. Left hook, right uppercut from Putting. Penn swats away the attempt to clinch by Putting. Putting throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Penn. Putting works Penn's body with a nice hook. Putting tries to close the distance and clinch but Penn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Putting moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. This has been an exciting period of action! Penn showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Putting.
Putting tries to clinch but fails miserably and Penn counters with a nice double leg into side control. Putting won't be happy with that. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Penn is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Putting is trying to escape and Penn transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Putting is forced to tap! Nice work there by Penn! Very nice indeed!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wojtk closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Joyce to the mat! Joyce manages to get full guard. Wojtk's corner is telling him to maintain position. Joyce controls Wojtk momentarily but Wojtk frees himself. Joyce throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

No chance. Boom has his foot on Kowalski's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kowalski works his way back into a safe position though. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kowalski trying to control the position from guard on top but Boom is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Boom isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kowalski stacks Boom on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kowalski! Kowalski is looking to take a break and control but Boom is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Boom tries to pull guard but Kowalski holds him up against the cage and eventually Boom drops back down to his feet.

Stryker takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Thomas shoots in looking for a takedown. Stryker feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Thomass jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Stryker dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stryker sends Thomas crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Stryker is motioning to the referee to let Thomas up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Thomas is rocked! Stryker cracks Thomas with a left hook right on the temple and Thomas goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Stryker lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Thomas is OK!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cortez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The crowd cheers as Cortez lands an impressive looking overhand right. Merquez doesn't seem phased though. Cortez lands with a straight right. Merquez didn't see that one coming. Merquez is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Cortez.
It looks like Felix Merquez has been cut. A momentary lapse in concentration from Cortez enables Merquez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cortez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cortez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Merquez in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Merquez landing with the ground and pound. Merquez slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Merquez distracts Cortez with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Merquez lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. You can see the frustration on Cortez's face as Merquez controls the position. Merquez lands a decent elbow from side control. Cortez pushes Merquez away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Merquez gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Cortez is looking for a sweep. Merquez wants to control but Cortez is keeping him busy. Merquez is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cortez knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Cortez is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Cortez is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Merquez couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Zedong is looking to regain half guard here but Brizuela keeps moving and retains side control.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Francis Brizuela hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Brizuela closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
