1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Butler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ares Hurricane! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Butler. Butler feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hurricane's calf. Hurricane takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Hurricane takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Butler staying out of range there. Butler thumps Hurricane with a low kick. Hurricane decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hurricane thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Butler's head. Hurricane tries to stand but can't do so whilst Butler controls his leg. Hurricane is looking to stall here but Butler recovers full guard. Butler is looking to stand up but Hurricane isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hurricane wants to stand but Butler has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Butler is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Hurricane trying to stand up but can't free himself from Butler's guard. Butler wants to get back to his feet but Hurricane is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hurricane working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Butler is looking to stand up but Hurricane isn't so interested in that idea. Hurricane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Butler swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hurricane gets the takedown into side control. Hurricane happy to just control the position for now. Butler bucks up and tries to throw Hurricane off but instead Hurricane has got his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Butler staying busy and making it hard for Hurricane to control. Butler is trying to stand back up. Hurricane is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Butler has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Hurricane slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Butler is trying to get back to his feet but Hurricane has full control of the position and if anything, Butler has just worked his way into a worse spot. Butler is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Hurricane gets his way!

Butler fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hurricane. A slapping leg kick lands for Butler.
Josh Butler is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hurricane is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Hurricane tries to bum rush Butler with a series of wild strikes but Butler uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Hurricane moves in looking to clinch but Butler pushes him off. Hurricane fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Butler manages to avoid it. Butler throws a nice inside leg kick. Butler throws a head kick that Hurricane semi-blocks.
It looks like Ares Hurricane has been cut. Hurricane misses with a takedown and Butler counters with a nice leg kick. Hurricane's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Butler throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hurricane. Hurricane tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Butler thumps Hurricane with a low kick. Butler scores with a push kick. Ares Hurricane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hurricane takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Hurricane on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Both fighters circling a little - Butler finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Butler dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hurricane. That did some damage! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hurricane avoids the head kick by Butler.

Hurricane tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Butler manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hurricane shoots in looking for a takedown but Butler manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hurricane's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Butler moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Hurricane shoots in but Butler avoids the takedown attempt easily. Hurricane fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Josh Butler is winning the standup battle so far. Butler scores with a kick to the body.
Hurricane fails with a takedown attempt from distance. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hurricane crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Butler - the referee stops the clock and Hurricane gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Butler. Hurricane manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Butler throws a nice head kick!

They are putting on a show! Butler lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hurricane's sensitive parts. Hurricane seems to have recovered his senses. Butler throws a nice inside leg kick. Butler lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Hurricane takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Butler thumps Hurricane with a low kick. Butler is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. The fighters circle, before Butler throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Hurricane's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Butler lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Josh Butler! In his post fight interview, Josh Butler started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karelin connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Karelin drives through and clinches with Moxley against the cage.
Karelin pushes Moxley back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Moxley gets control of Karelin's arms and successfully pulls guard. Moxley will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Karelin controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Moxley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Karelin trying to control but Moxley is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Karelin working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Karelin lands a couple of decent looking shots. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brindley looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Furlotte is fending him off so far but Brindley persists. Nope, Furlotte circles away and we're back to standing. Brindley instigates a clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Brindley. Brindley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Brindley tries to close the distance and clinch but Furlotte swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Furlotte tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brindley paws at him with a jab and circles away. Brindley shoots in and gets a takedown into Furlotte's guard. Brindley stays in close to Furlotte's body and controls the position. Furlotte has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brindley drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Furlotte dives on top into guard. Brindley utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Brindley tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Brindley keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Furlotte scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Brindley told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Matrix is looking for a sweep. Kim is trying to get an arm triangle but Matrix is defending well. You can see the frustration on Matrix's face as Kim controls the position. Matrix is trying to control Kim's posture but Kim avoids it. Matrix gets back to half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Matrix is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kim's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kim's back!
