Thompson finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hill moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Hill closes the distance and clinches up with Thompson, looking for a takedown. Hill pushes Thompson against the cage but Thompson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hill drops back, looking for a kneebar! Thompson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Thompson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Thompson!
You can see the frustration on Hill's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

That was a close round but I would say that Carlie Phelps will probably get the nod.

Carwin takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Leonard Rockstein's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Carwin swings for the body but Rockstein moves out of range.
Carwin dips to his left and cracks Rockstein with an uppercut!

Rockstein escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Carwin throws a series of punches but Rockstein avoids them all with ease.

Megaphny throws out a powerful jab.

It looks like Gus Duran has been cut.
Duran misses with a wild body shot.
Megaphny throws a right and a left that both miss.

Megaphny drops Duran with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Duran looks back up at him and smiles so Megaphny waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Duran is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Megaphny cracks Duran with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Duran falls to his knees and Megaphny doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
