0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ante Gardasevic! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gardasevic avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Punchinson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Gardasevic backs up against the cage.
Gardasevic throws a looping overhand right but Punchinson ducks down to avoid it. Gardasevic misses with an uppercut. Nice takedown defense from Gardasevic. No joy for Punchinson on that attempt. Punchinson shoots in but no luck this time. Punchinson misses with a takedown attempt - Gardasevic sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Punch Punchinson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Punchinson wants to clinch but Gardasevic slips to the side and Gardasevic cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Gardasevic's coach down at Blitzkrieg Fighting Systems: Ground was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gardasevic's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. A swing and a miss from Gardasevic. Punchinson shoots in and drives through. Gardasevic sprawls well. Punchinson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Punchinson throws a shot to the body.
Punchinson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gardasevic. Punchinson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Gardasevic back to the cage. Punchinson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Punchinson darts in trying to clinch and Gardasevic counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Punchinson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gardasevic tries to avoid it but Punchinson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gardasevic to the ground. Gardasevic escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Punchinson is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Punchinson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Gardasevic throws a big shot that misses. Gardasevic swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Punchinson tries to clinch but Gardasevic is having none of it. Punchinson tries to clinch but Gardasevic moves out of range. Punchinson moves out of range as Gardasevic strikes. Punchinson darts in looking for a takedown but Gardasevic gets double underhooks and turns Punchinson into the cage. Gardasevic manages to break the clinch.
Ante Gardasevic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Punchinson tries to clinch up but Gardasevic circles away and keeps his distance. Gardasevic looks to score with a jab to the body but Punchinson is just out of range. Punchinson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Gardasevic throws a jab when Punchinson was well out of range. The fighters circling - Gardasevic throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Punchinson avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Gardasevic misses with an uppercut. Punchinson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Punchinson defending well as Gardasevic loads up on a big left hand.

and Punchinson counters with a series of strikes. Gardasevic will be more careful next time no doubt. Gardasevic avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gardasevic has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Gardasevic there as he acknowledges the shot. Punchinson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Gardasevic defends well and Punchinson ends up having to push Gardasevic into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Gardasevic manages to break the clinch.
Punchinson throws a sloppy head kick and Gardasevic moves out of range easily. Gardasevic looks to land a right hand but Punchinson moved out of range. Gardasevic digs a good body shot into Punchinson's ribs. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gardasevic leaves Punchinson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Gardasevic lands a really nice looking cross but Punchinson seems unphased.
Punchinson is rocked! Gardasevic waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Punchinson. Gardasevic throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gardasevic tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Punchinson was well out of range. Poor timing from Gardasevic. Punchinson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Punchinson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Oh Punchinson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Punchinson blocks a jab. Punchinson seems to have got his legs back now. Punchinson looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Punchinson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gardasevic. Gardasevic loads up on a big right hand but Punchinson slips the punch. Gardasevic throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The fighters circling - Gardasevic throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Punchinson shoots in for a takedown but Gardasevic shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Gardasevic missing with a left hand there. Punchinson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Gardasevic swings for the body but Punchinson moves out of range.

Gardasevic lands a nice hook to Punchinson's body. Punchinson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Ante Gardasevic is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A big left from Gardasevic misses. Punchinson slips under a jab. Gardasevic swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Gardasevic throws a looping overhand right but Punchinson ducks down to avoid it. Gardasevic is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Punchinson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gardasevic.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Punchinson feints a jab promting Gardasevic to slip. Punchinson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gardasevic slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Gardasevic looks to score with a jab to the body but Punchinson is just out of range. Gardasevic swings for the body but Punchinson moves out of range.
Gardasevic tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Punchinson was well out of range. Poor timing from Gardasevic. Punchinson shoots and misses and Gardasevic counters with a nice uppercut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gardasevic misses with an uppercut. Punchinson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gardasevic. Gardasevic looks to score with a jab to the body but Punchinson is just out of range. Punchinson tries for a takedown but Gardasevic circles away easily enabling Gardasevic to counter with a crisp jab. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gardasevic misses with an uppercut. Gardasevic looks to land a right hand but Punchinson moved out of range. Gardasevic throws an overhand right that lands on Punchinson's shoulder, as Punchinson tries to avoid the shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ante Gardasevic dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Punchinson wants to clinch enabling Gardasevic to counter with a crisp jab. Gardasevic misses with a left hand and Punchinson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Punchinson avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Gardasevic misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Punchinson.
Punchinson tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Gardasevic counters with a crisp right that sends Punchinson to the canvas! Gardasevic follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ante Gardasevic! A very excited looking Ante Gardasevic rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cojones tries a head kick but it misses.
Hurricane throws an off balance right hand
and Cojones counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Cojones. Hurricane tries to circle away but Cojones has him pinned against the cage. Come on Cojones - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Hurricane tries to break free but Cojones pushes him back against the cage. Cojones keeps control of Hurricane as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Cojones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Cojones walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Cojones clinches with his opponent.
Hurricane is trying to push Cojones away but Cojones has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Cojones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Cojones takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Cojones gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Hurricane wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Cojones has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hurricane is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Cojones lands a takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Hurricane is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Cojones dives into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hurricane is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Cojones cracks Hurricane with a big right hand but Hurricane just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Cojones has hold of Hurricane's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Hurricane tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Cojones cranks the arm and Hurricane screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Hurricane, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Pablo Cojones! Pablo Cojones decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.

Palemox uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Waters.
Waters closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Waters lands in his opponent's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Waters controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Palemox wants to stand but Waters is controlling the position. Waters slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Lemy Waters. Waters throws an overhand right that lands on Palemox's shoulder, as Palemox tries to avoid the shot. Waters scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Palemox doesn't seem bothered though. Waters lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Palemox throws a body kick that misses. Palemox throws a low kick but Waters moves out of range easily. Palemox throws a head kick that misses and Waters counters with a nice double leg into side control. Palemox won't be happy with that. Palemox tries to escape but Waters is in control. Waters is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Palemox will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Check out the look on Waters's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Palemox on the wrong end of some ground and pound. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Waters lands some shots froms side control. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Palemox is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Waters looks up at the clock and then as Palemox takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Waters smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Waters lands a heavy elbow. Palemox is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Stryper lands a couple of good shots and McTavish has given up his back, trying to escape the position! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stryper thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Will Stryper go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

That's three minutes gone in the round. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Stryper connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for McTavish to escape the position.
Stryper is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. McTavish knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften McTavish for a finish. Stryper punches the canvas rather than the man. Stryper landing with strikes. Stryper misses with a punch to the head. Stryper looking to hold on to the position here but McTavish rolls and ends up regaining guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! McTavish wants to stand up but Stryper is controlling him. Stryper throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Stryper loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Stryper throwing strikes from guard but McTavish blocks nicely. Stryper lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. McTavish working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Stryper. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McTavish keeping moving, preventing Stryper from controlling successfully. Stryper stands up over McTavish, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shayn Stryper dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
McTavish connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Stryper shoots for a takedown but McTavish saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. McTavish throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Stryper shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches McTavish napping and manages to drive through into side control! McTavish wants to get back to his feet. Stryper is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but McTavish is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Stryper trying to control the action but McTavish is working from the bottom. Stryper is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. McTavish knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Stryper scoring with punches from side control.

McTavish taking a bit of punishment here - Stryper scoring with strikes. McTavish pushes Stryper away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Stryper gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Stryper is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down McTavish's shoulder. That is not cool. McTavish defending against the ground and pound. Stryper fails to land a wild elbow strike.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McTavish is pushing Stryper's head away, looking to escape. Stryper manages to hold on to the position though.

McTavish is trying to get back to his feet. Stryper sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but McTavish is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
You can see the frustration on McTavish's face as Stryper controls the position. Stryper wants to lay and pray for a moment but McTavish keeps working. McTavish wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Stryper in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Sloppy strikes there by Stryper. Sloppy strikes there by Stryper. McTavish is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. McTavish has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Stryper is really squeezing tight and eventually McTavish passes out! Stryper breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Georg Scott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Killian Red! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Red moves to clinch but Scott breaks away and Scott makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Red throws a leg kick but Scott checks it. A thudding body kick lands there by Scott!
Red looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Red fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Scott throws a head kick that misses. A bone on bone clash there as Scott blocks the leg kick.
Red misses with a takedown attempt - Scott sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Scott throws a head kick that Red semi-blocks.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Scott moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Red blocks a head kick by Scott.
Red fails with a takedown attempt. Scott has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Georg Scott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Killian Red. Scott throws a sloppy head kick and Red moves out of range easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Scott avoids a punch combination nicely.
Red takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Georg Scott is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Red looks winded! Scott tries a head kick but it misses.
Scott tries to land a front kick but Red steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Red wants to clinch up but Scott keeps it at a distance. Red will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Scott closes the distance and pushes Red back into the cage. Scott content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Scott breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. An inside leg kick lands from Scott. Scott pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Red back to the cage. Scott follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Georg Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Scott lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Red circles away quickly and effectively. A head kick misses from Scott. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Scott throws a head kick but Red moves out of range.
That kick from Scott tenderised Red's leg. Red is trying to keep his angry face on. Scott gets a clinch. Scott escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Scott throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Red has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Scott throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Scott misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Red tries for a takedown but Scott sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Scott slaps away a takedown attempt from Red, before circling back to the center of the mat. Red takes a kick to the side of the head. Scott stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Scott wants it to stay on the feet. Scott rushes Red with punches - Red moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Red goes down! Scott follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Georg Scott! After winning the bout, Georg Scott thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Crim is defended easily by Silva. Crim misses with a takedown and Silva decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Crim's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Crim throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Crim looking for a sweep. Not yet Crim, not yet. Silva wants to stand but Crim has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Crim wants to improve his position but instead Silva has moved into half guard.
Crim is trying to control but can't.
Crim is trying to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crim wants to sweep but Silva has passed to side control! Silva blocks the strikes from Crim.
Crim is trying to work for a sweep but Silva has mounted him! Crim might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Crim regains half guard. Crim keeping control of the position. Silva prevents Crim from improving his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crim looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Silva tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Crim. Crim looking for submissions off his back.

Crim wants to hold on but Silva pushes him away. Crim is desperately trying to improve his position but Silva has a good base and remains in mount. Silva blocks Crim's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Crim tries to hold on but Silva pushes him away. Silva is looking to stand but Silva has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crim is trying desperately to improve position. Crim tries to hold on but Silva postures up.

Crim is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Crim is working hard here to advance position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. I would not like to be Crim right now.

Crim misses with a left hand and Silva counters with a nice double leg into side control. Crim won't be happy with that. Crim is trying to strike from the bottom but Silva has passed into full mount. Crim throws an elbow that misses. Silva uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Crim's guard. Nice move by Silva! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Crim is proving hard to escape from. Crim wants to sweep but no luck.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crim looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Silva tries to stand but Crim is controlling from the bottom. Crim is trying to hold Silva in close to prevent damage but Silva has managed to pass into half guard.

Crim is trying to reverse the position but instead Silva has taken his back - oops! Crim is really stuck here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crim just trying to survive but Silva is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Crim tries to roll but Silva sticks to his back.
Silva has good solid back control here. Silva not allowing Crim to control his hands. Thomas Crim overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Crim rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Crim looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silva is fending him off so far but Crim persists. Nope, Silva circles away and we're back to standing. Silva displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Crim. Silva defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Crim. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thomas Crim. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crim looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Silva! Crim in side control, throwing shots but Silva defends. Crim throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Silva works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Crim is trying to work for a kimura but Silva is defending well.

Crim thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Silva's head. Silva wants to get back to his feet.
Crim throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Silva to regain full guard. Crim with a nice head shot there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crim throws a big right hand that misses. Crim content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Crim stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard. Crim throws an elbow that misses. Silva uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Crim's guard. Nice move by Silva! Crim is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Crim looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Silva puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Crim.
Crim is looking for a sweep. Silva has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Silva staying out of range there. Crim throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Crim closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We've been hearing that Crim has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Crim is chipping away with strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Silva scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Crim struggling a bit here. Crim tries to get back to half guard but can't. Silva tries to stand but Crim is controlling his head. Eduardo Silva has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Crim can't do much from the bottom here.
And that's the end of the fight! Thomas Crim showed his dominance in that final round. Well Crim has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

He's persisting with it as Brubaker sprawls well. Brubaker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tavern gets slowly back to his feet. Brubaker's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Brubaker duly obliges.
It looks like Makaweli Tavern has been cut. Brubaker stuffs the takedown. Brubaker throws a series of punches but Tavern moves out of range. Brubaker drops Tavern with a beautiful combination! Tavern stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Brubaker is looking for the KO!
Tavern is rocked! Billybob Brubaker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brubaker cracks Tavern's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Tavern slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Penn is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Silva keeping moving, preventing Penn from controlling successfully. Silva managing to control the position. Penn trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jay Penn. Penn gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Silva counters with a nice double leg into side control. Penn won't be happy with that. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Silva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Penn keeps working. Silva working the head and body with strikes. Penn is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Silva stalling. Silva lands strikes from half guard. Silva keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Silva moves into full mount! Penn won't be happy about that! Silva controlling the pace for now. Penn in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Silva scores with a couple of good head shots there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Silva tries to control but Penn wriggling away. Penn is wriggling around trying to escape.

It looks like Jay Penn has been cut. A big strike lands for Silva! That's really hurt Penn and he's turned his back - Silva keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Silva jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
