3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Derrick King! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Illya Tyunina and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jazwinski was well out of range. Poor timing from King. Jazwinski fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jazwinski shoots in and drives through. King sprawls well. Jazwinski is trying hard to land a takedown here. King sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jazwinski throws a body kick that misses. Jazwinski takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Piotr Jazwinski has been cut. Jazwinski takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A head kick misses from Jazwinski. King fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jazwinski looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. King circles away from the clinch attempt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jazwinski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. King wants to sweep but no luck. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. King utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Jazwinski will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. King has Jazwinski pulled in close to control his posture. Derrick King dominated that round. The cut man is working on Piotr Jazwinski's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
King throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jazwinski stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Jazwinski swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
King lands a big head kick that sends Jazwinski tumbling to the mat! King takes a step backwards and waves Jazwinski back to his feet - he wants the finish! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jazwinski on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. King thuds his shin into the meat of Jazwinski's side. King misses the shot to the body. Piotr Jazwinski is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jazwinski chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before King can pounce on him.
King pushes Jazwinski away with a front kick. King drops Jazwinski with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Jazwinski! King dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Derrick King! A relieved looking Derrick King thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White digs a good body shot into Lowey's ribs. White swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lowey looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. White misses with a wild body shot. White lands a slapping body shot.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that White has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Lowey throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. White was covering up waiting for the punch and Lowey finishes the takedown easily into guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. White wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Lowey wants to pass the guard but White is keeping the position. White looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Lowey tries to free his leg and advance position but White is retaining full guard. That was a close round but I would say that Peter Lowey will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

That's one minute gone in the round. White in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. The strikes coming from White are missing the target in this wave of attacks. White fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Lowey is trying to get back to half guard. White wants to control but Lowey is keeping him busy. White misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Chalky White showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Lowey throws a body punch but White moves out of range. Lowey steps to the side to avoid the strikes from White. Chalky White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. White's corner calls for a 1-2. White obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. White fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lowey manages to avoid it. White tries to clinch but Lowey is having none of it. White lands with a straight right. Lowey didn't see that one coming. White gets the takedown into side control. White is trying to ground and pound but Lowey uses the momentary lack of control by White to regain half guard. White drops an elbow to the side of Lowey's head.

White wants to advance to full mount but Lowey doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. White postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Lowey tries to land a sweep but no joy. Lowey preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

White working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Lowey's head. White stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lowey swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! White scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Lowey is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and White can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Stark tries to bum rush Cobretti with a series of wild strikes but Cobretti uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Cobretti throws a leg kick that misses. Stark moves out of range of the body kick. Stark cracks the inside of Cobretti's front leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stark will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Cobretti throws an elbow that misses. Stark uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cobretti's guard. Nice move by Stark! Cobretti throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Cobretti is trying to control the position but Stark postures up. Cobretti working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stark doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stark manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Stark stopping the sweep attempt from Cobretti. Cobretti looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Stark puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Cobretti is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Stark tries to pass the half guard into mount. Cobretti knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Cobretti tries to roll over but Stark keeps him under control. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! We've been hearing good reports from Cobretti's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Stark wants to get back to his feet.

Stark tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Stark prevents Cobretti from improving his position. Stark perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Cobretti is looking for a sweep. Stark is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Cobretti is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Cobretti looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vanapa Animai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomasz Drwal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Animai might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Here comes the hotstepper. Tomasz Drwal struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 206.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Drwal bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Animai's head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
