Swanson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Dubrovsky is looking for a sweep. Swanson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dubrovsky is looking to get back to full guard here but Swanson has managed to pass to side control instead. Dubrovsky is trying to work for a sweep but Swanson has mounted him! Swanson prevents Dubrovsky from getting the reversal.
Dubrovsky is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Swanson locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Dubrovsky is forced to tap!

Walker shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gaius manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Walker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Walker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Walker pushing down on Gaius's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Gaius is looking to improve his position.
Walker looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

A jab lands there for Gves. Gves connects with a body shot. Free Gves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gves lands with a straight right. Diaz didn't see that one coming. Gves tests Diaz's chin there with a solid looking shot. Gves lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Gves throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Diaz. Diaz on the wrong end of a nice jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Diaz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Gves is looking to regain half guard here but Diaz keeps moving and retains side control. Sloppy strikes there by Diaz. Gves is looking for a sweep. Gves is trying to escape the position but Diaz is controlling the position. Diaz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Diaz lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Gves is trying to get back to half guard.

Koskinen has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
