The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some bone on bone action there as Van Damned checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Crain closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Van Damned wants to get back to full guard. Crain is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Van Damned defends it well. Van Damned is trying is best to control the position here. Crain with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Van Damned keeps control of the position for the meantime. Van Damned wants to improve his position but Crain is controlling well.
Van Damned is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Synergy Fight Team (ACME) that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Crain wants to free his trapped foot but Van Damned is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crain throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Van Damned to regain full guard. Van Damned lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Crain! Van Damned working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Crain manages to regain half guard. Good work. He's simply no match for Crain on the ground. Crain is trying to control the position from the bottom.

McGobblecock moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd cheers as McGobblecock lands an impressive looking overhand right. Stoner doesn't seem phased though. We've been hearing reports that Stoner has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Stoner keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The fighters circling - McGobblecock throws out the jab but it was never going to land. McGobblecock lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. A swing and a miss from McGobblecock. BJ McGobblecock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wufie wants to clinch. Hansen lands with a cross. Wufie tries a low kick but Hansen avoids it. Wufie connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Wufie has closed the distance and engaged Hansen in a clinch.
Wufie tries to work over Hansen's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Wufie pushes Hansen back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Hansen on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circle momentarily. Linhares darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Lemieux lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Linhares!

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Nowacki drops his hands momentarily and Tracey takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Tracey throws a hook but Nowacki avoids it easily. Nowacki scores with the left hand. Tracey knows he should have avoided that one. Nowacki slips a straight right by Tracey.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tracey throws a series of punches but Nowacki avoids them all with ease. Tracey ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nowacki moves away. Tracey misses with a lunging right hand
and Nowacki counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Tracey thinking. Nowacki connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Tracey scores with a jab to the jaw. Rob Tracey has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Nowacki.

and Nowacki counters with an inside leg kick. Nowacki throws a body kick that misses and Tracey counters with a nice uppercut. Jab from Tracey. Nowacki lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Nowacki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Tracey looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Nowacki throws a sloppy head kick and Tracey moves out of range easily. Nowacki takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Nowacki wants to clinch. Nowacki lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tracey takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tracey tries to land a leg kick but Nowacki saw it coming and moves away.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Herkules Nowacki. Well Nowacki has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
