The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kawada shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kawada scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Khan is defending against the submission attempts here by Kawada.
Kawada trying to mount his opponent but Khan defends it. Khan pushes Kawada off looking to stand but Kawada dives back in and keeps control.

Khan will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Kawada up against the cage. Kawada tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Khan defends well and Kawada ends up having to push Khan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Kawada is breathing heavily.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kawada looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Khan tries to kick Kawada off but Kawada keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Khan has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Kawada is on him like a limpet, forcing Khan back against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Khan. Khan pressing his opponent against the cage. A short body shot lands from Khan as the two fighters clinch.
Kawada is trying to force a seperation but Khan has the dominant position. Kawada has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Khan avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Kawada has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Khan seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Kawada can turn it around. Khan dodges an elbow strike from Kawada.

That was a close second round but I would say that Atilla Khan will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Khan seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Khan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kawada's guard. Kawada manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Khan manages to get himself to full guard.
Khan pushes Kawada off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Khan is looking to take this fight into the clinch. We've been told by Khan's head coaches at EvolutioN MMA Acadamy & Gym ( 12 ELITE Coaches ) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Kawada gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Khan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kawada throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Khan tries to clinch but Kawada moves out of range. Kawada keeps the fight on the outside. Sloppy strikes from Kawada. Those never looked like landing. Khan has Kawada up against the cage in a clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The referee is keeping an eye on Khan - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kawada jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Khan walks away with a smile on his face. Kawada gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Kawada misses with a takedown attempt and Khan counters with a left and a right that stings Kawada.
And that's the end of the fight! Atilla Khan showed his dominance in that final round. Well Khan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hammer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Hammer shoots for a double leg takedown but Jakobsen sprawls well. He's pushed Hammer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A punch combination from Jakobsen misses. Hammer throws a body kick that misses. Hammer closes the distance and pushes Jakobsen back into the cage. Jakobsen stops a takedown attempt from Hammer.
Adolf Jakobsen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Hammer. Jakobsen tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hammer smiles and moves away.

Hammer has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Hammer looks for a takedown but Jakobsen sprawls well. Hammer moves to clinch but Jakobsen breaks away and Jakobsen counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hammer won't be happy with that. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Hammer is trying to get back to half guard. Jakobsen in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Hammer is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Adolf Jakobsen! Adolf Jakobsen spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Schindler shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Suokas as he avoids it easily. Suokas throws a hook to the side of Schindler's head but Schindler sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Schindler fails with a takedown attempt. Suokas lands with an uppercut that bounces Schindler off the cage and back into range.
It looks like Kurt Schindler has been cut. Schindler throws a head kick that misses. Good exchange - Suokas coming out on top. Schindler checks the leg kick. Schindler shoots in and drives through. Suokas sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kurt Schindler. That's going to take a lot out of him. Suokas plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Schindler will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Schindler dives in for a single leg takedown but Suokas sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Suokas lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Schindler or not. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Suokas stalls. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Suokas creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Schindler dodges an elbow strike from Suokas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dekker sprawls well. Dekker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Martin gets slowly back to his feet. Martin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dekker avoids it really well and circles away. Dekker has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Spetznaz Training Center in the buildup to the fight. Dekker scores with a leg kick.
Dekker connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Martin fails with the takedown. Roene Dekker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Martin. Dekker shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Martin eats them both and turns towards Dekker to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Andrew Martin has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dekker thows a body shot but no joy. Dekker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Martin manages to avoid it. Andrew Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Martin fails with a takedown attempt. Martin fails with the takedown and Dekker counters with a stiff right hand. Martin with a poor takedown and Dekker counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Martin looks winded! Martin dives in and grabs Dekker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dekker pushes down on Martin's head and hops out. Dekker lands a nice looking body shot.

Dekker paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Dekker batters Martin with a massive right followed by a huge left! Martin is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Dekker lands a final crushing right hand to drop Martin to the mat with a gruesome thud! Dekker is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Roene Dekker! Roene Dekker tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

Collins swings away with a leg kick that misses. Collins misses the shot to the body. Krush looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Krush has taken the fight to the clinch.

Krush is pressed up against the cage. Collins has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Krush down to the mat. Krush avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Krush avoids the body shot from Collins.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Collins accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Krush is trying to keep Collins in close.

Krush is looking to control Collins's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Krush avoid being mounted? Collins moves nicely into side control. Collins grinds an elbow into Krush's temple. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Gardner, as that shot connected.

Gardner throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Ryback scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Ryback thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Ryback is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gardner is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Ryback controls the position from side control. Gardner felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Gardner is looking for a sweep.

Ryback has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ryback with the ground and pound but Gardner regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Ryback trying to control from half guard but Gardner is working away. Gardner is looking for a sweep. Ryback is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Casey Ryback dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Ryback catches Gardner with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Gardner lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ryback's sensitive parts. Some bone on bone action there as Ryback checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Gardner misses with an attempted mid kick.

Gardner throws a leg kick which misses Ryback's front leg but catches the back leg as Ryback tries to avoid it. Gardner misses with a hook. Ryback ducked under it nicely. That's one minute gone in the round. Ryback throws a leg kick but Gardner sees it coming and checks it nicely. Gardner throws a quick inside leg kick. A nice leg kick lands there from Gardner. A lazy left from Gardner finds it's target. Gardner feints and then cracks Ryback's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ryback down. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Both fighters circling a little - Gardner finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Gardner lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Ryback's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gardner connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ryback scrambles back to his feet. Ryback takes a shot right to the bread basket. Ryback walks into a stiff left hand from Gardner. Ryback tries to move into range but Gardner moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. A good leg kick by Gardner. Gardner looks to land a body kick but Ryback moved away. Gardner is looking to slow Ryback down with leg kicks. Gardner delivers a nice body kick. Gardner tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ryback manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Ryback throws a leg kick but Gardner sees it coming and moves out of range. Gardner lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Gardner scores with a jab to the body. Gardner fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Ryback takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Ryback looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Gardner lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Gardner lands the left hand. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Gardner checks a leg kick. Ryback is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Gardner lands a nice shot to the body.
