The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burden misses with a body kick.
Burden checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Burden closes the distance and clinches up with Carrier, looking for a takedown. Burden pushes Carrier against the cage but Carrier circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Burden shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Carrier pinned against the cage. Carrier gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Carrier looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Burden goes for a double leg but Carrier avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Carrier continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shane Burden. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Burden jumps guard but Carrier turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
A frustrated look appears on Carrier's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Nice takedown defense from Carrier. No joy for Burden on that attempt.
Carrier lands a big right hook! Burden looks hurt but is still standing! Carrier lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Burden falls down and Carrier dives in with a huge hammer fist! Burden's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Carrier runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

Hughes connects with the punch.

It looks like James K Lee has been cut.

Hughes feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lee sprawling to the canvas! Lee rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hughes finish him?!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Shamrock lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bobby Shamrock.

Willy Wonka comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Wonka has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
