Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lucas CdS! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, jason the warrior! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Thiago Cunha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! the warrior misses with an attempted mid kick.
CdS tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. the warrior throws a sloppy head kick and CdS moves out of range easily. CdS feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. CdS trying to control but the warrior is working from the bottom. the warrior working a defensive guard but CdS manages to pass into side control anyway.
CdS wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by the warrior, who protects the arm well. the warrior is looking to regain half guard here but CdS keeps moving and retains side control. CdS goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, the warrior has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for CdS but great work by the warrior. the warrior tries for a kimura but CdS is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. the warrior passes to full mount! That's big trouble for CdS! CdS wants to hold on but the warrior pushes him away. CdS is looking to improve his position but the warrior isn't that keen on the idea. CdS tries to hold on but the warrior postures up. the warrior get's back to his feet. CdS changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. the warrior tries to avoid it but CdS manages to keep hold of a leg and drag the warrior to the ground. the warrior escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. CdS shoots for a takedown but the warrior saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. CdS is breathing heavily. the warrior darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

CdS is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but the warrior pulls his head out easily. the warrior keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. the warrior wants to pass to mount but CdS is defending the position. CdS works his way to full guard. Good work. the warrior trying to stand up but can't free himself from CdS's guard. the warrior wants to control from the top but CdS keeps moving. CdS doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

CdS is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. the warrior knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. the warrior isn't going anywhere.
That's two minutes gone in the round. the warrior bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! CdS wants to clinch and the warrior decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in CdS's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! CdS is looking to sweep but instead, the warrior has passed into half guard.

CdS tries to lock up and control but the warrior gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. the warrior looking for a guillotine from mount but CdS is having none of it. the warrior has hold of CdS's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and CdS manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. the warrior controlling his opponent. CdS sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. CdS trying to control here.
And that's the end of the fight! jason the warrior comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well the warrior has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fofana misses with a takedown attempt - Cewin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Fofana fails with the takedown. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Fofana closes the distance and clinches up with Cewin, looking for a takedown. Fofana pushes Cewin against the cage but Cewin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Amadeu Cewin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mukanda Fofana. Cewin doesn't succeed with the takedown and Fofana counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cewin's guard now. Fofana must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Cewin working for a triangle but Fofana defends it easily.
Fofana really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cewin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Patino shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ferraz but Ferraz pushes him off and we're back to square one. Nando Ferraz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now.
