Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Azeredo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gilbert Yvel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luiz Azeredo had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Gilbert Yvel is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Gomi drops Overeen with a naaaaasty hook - Overeen is in real trouble here! Gomi dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Danga de danga de dang - Carwin scores with a four punch combination!
Overeem fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Carwin tries to clinch but Overeem is having none of it.

Carwin has taken the fight to the clinch.

Carwin ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Carwin no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Overeem drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Overeem jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Carwin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Overeem. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Overeem has gone for a leg lock! Carwin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Overeem's guard.
