The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Kahana. No joy for Bagcal on that attempt. Bagcal looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Bagcal tries a head kick but it misses.
Bagcal tries to bum rush Kahana with a series of wild strikes but Kahana uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kahana throws a nice looking combination but Bagcal bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Bagcal closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kahana to the mat! Kahana manages to get full guard. Bagcal won't allow Kahana to get back to his feet. Bagcal drops back looking for a leg! Kahana is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kahana manages to kick Bagcal off! Bagcal jumps back into Kahana's guard. Kahana keeping moving, preventing Bagcal from controlling successfully. It looks like Donovan Bagcal has been cut. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Kahana checks a leg kick. Kahana misses with a jab, cross combination.
No luck for Bagcal with that takedown attempt. Bagcal throws a body punch but Kahana moves out of range. A shot to de liver by Kahana. Beautiful body shot. Kahana lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Kahana lands a two punch combo.

Kahana cracks Bagcal on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Bagcal falls backwards against the cage. Kahana follows up with more strikes that drop Bagcal to his knees. Kahana keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Bagcal! This one is all over!

Silver trying to control the position from guard on top but George is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Silver preventing the sweep. George really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. George wants to control the position but Silver says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Silver wants to stand up but George has a hold of him and won't allow it. George is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Silver jumps into side control! Silver has hold of George's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! George tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Silver cranks the arm and George screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from George, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Dog had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. stevens defends it easily. stevens wants to pass the guard but Dog is keeping the position. Dog wriggles free and stands up. Dog drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Dog postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! stevens is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dog, into his guard. stevens stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dog swivels though and keeps the full guard. stevens is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. stevens being controlled here momentarily.

Apollo Creed had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. On his way into the cage it seems that Apollo Creed has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Apollo Creed seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?
