1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quandre Wallace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Shashia! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallace fails with a takedown attempt. Wallace plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Wallace shoots in but no luck this time. Shashia swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wallace shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wallace showed some decent athleticism there. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Shashia is controlling Wallace's position as best he can from this difficult position. Shashia is pressing down on Wallace's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Shashia is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Wallace regains full guard. Nicely done. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shashia throwing strikes but missing.

Wallace keeping moving, preventing Shashia from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wallace preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Shashia wants to control from the top but Wallace keeps moving. Shashia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wallace. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Shashia is looking to work some ground and pound but Wallace has wrist control. Shashia's corner is telling him to maintain position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bruce Shashia. Shashia cracks Wallace with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Shashia jabbing away but nothing is landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wallace shoots in and drives through. Shashia sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quandre Wallace. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shashia lands a right hook to the body.

Wallace rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shashia moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Shashia throws a hook to the side of Wallace's head but Wallace sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Wallace misses with an attempted mid kick.
Shashia is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Wallace's half guard.

Shashia is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Shashia throws a big right hand that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Wallace holds on and takes a little breather. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Wallace avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Wallace wants to sweep but no luck. Wallace wants to stand but Shashia is controlling the position. Shashia sitting in guard here, content to control.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Bruce Shashia hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Shashia misses with a hook. Bruce Shashia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wallace takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Shashia throws a shot from downtown. Shashia throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wallace stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Shashia fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Shashia pushes Wallace up against the cage in a clinch. Wallace is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Shashia is defending well. Shashia controlling the action here for a moment.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A punch combination from Shashia misses. Wallace tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Wallace tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. No joy there for Shashia, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Shashia forces Wallace back against the cage and clinches. Shashia jumps guard but Wallace stands there with Shashia around his waist. Shashia gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Shashia pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Wallace misses with a series of wild punches.
Wallace gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Shashia counters with a one-two to the body. Shashia shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wallace napping and manages to drive through into side control! You can see the frustration on Wallace's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wallace seems a little lost for a moment, as Shashia dominates the positioning.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes there by Shashia. Shashia working away. Shashia wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wallace keeps working. Wallace pushes Shashia away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Shashia gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Shashia goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Wallace rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Shashia's guard! Nice work there by Wallace! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wallace stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shashia swivels though and keeps the full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wallace sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Shashia's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruce Shashia showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Shashia lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Shashia throws a body punch but Wallace moves out of range. Nice sprawl there from Shashia as Wallace shoots in. Shashia throws a right and a left that both miss. A decent looking cross lands there for Wallace. Bruce Shashia seems to be getting the better of the standup. Shashia throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Wallace looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Wallace slips a jab and a cross from Shashia.
Shashia throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wallace. Shashia dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Shashia will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Wallace tries to circle away but Shashia has him pinned against the cage. Wallace wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Shashia has him pressed against the cage. Shashia stalling in the clinch.
Shashia pulls guard effortlessly. Shashia looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Wallace stays in close to Shashia's body and controls the position.

Wallace wants to control from the top but Shashia keeps moving. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Wallace is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Quandre Wallace has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Shashia tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wallace was well out of range. Poor timing from Shashia. Wallace tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shashia sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wallace somewhat. A punch combination from Wallace misses. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Wallace keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Wallace takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Shashia gets in close and instigates a clinch. Shashia's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. That's four minutes gone in the round. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Wallace just misses with a elbow thrown towards Shashia's brow. Wallace jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Shashia walks away with a smile on his face. Wallace gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Shashia throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wallace was covering up waiting for the punch and Shashia finishes the takedown easily into guard. Shashia looking to sit in guard and control but Wallace gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Shashia pulls Wallace in to control the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Bruce Shashia comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Shashia has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Harris is in the full mount, landing strikes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cknlaskhr shoots in and drives through. Needham sprawls well. Cknlaskhr shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Needham as he jumps to the side. Chierehdk Cknlaskhr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Needham has Cknlaskhr up against the cage in a clinch.
Needham pulls guard effortlessly. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
