The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones lands an overhand right. Osipov swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.

Osipov is rocked! Jaylen Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Osipov wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Osipov needs to keep his hands up - Jones had a free shot at his head there. Jones feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Osipov sprawling to the canvas! Osipov rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jones finish him?!
This has been an exciting period of action! Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Osipov, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jones throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Osipov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Osipov looks winded! Jones throws an overhand right that drops Osipov like a sack of potatoes! Jones dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Fluke gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Malapitan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Fluke's guard now. Malapitan tries to free his leg and advance position but Fluke is retaining full guard. Malapitan passes Fluke's left leg - he's now in half guard. Malapitan is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Fluke sees it coming and defends easily. Malapitan is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fluke defends it well. Malapitan is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Malapitan wants to pass the guard but Fluke is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Malapitan works his way into full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Malapitan postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Fluke looks a forlorn figure.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Harris does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. A solid leg kick lands there for Harris.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Harris controlling the position from side mount. Harris fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Romero has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fitch takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Taite, as that shot connected.
Fitch shoots for a double leg takedown but Taite sprawls well. He's pushed Fitch's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Fitch drops Taite with a left right combo! Fitch follows him down to the ground into side control.
Taite is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Fitch wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Taite, who protects the arm well. Oh Taite is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Fitch has hold of Taite's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Taite seems comfortable defending it but Fitch has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Taite is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Taite is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Fitch couldn't care less - he's delighted!

We've been hearing reports that Benton has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Pol delivers a nice body kick. Pol steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Benton. Benton throws a hook but Pol blocks it. Benton wants to clinch. Pol chopping away at his opponent's legs.
