Horrible takedown by Penn or perhaps it was just good defense by Stevens which made him look bad.
Penn moves forwards but Stevens connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Penn looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Stevens has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Stevens lands a nice shot to the body.
Penn takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Penn takes a jab right on the kisser.
Penn shoots in looking for a takedown but Stevens manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Penn's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
