3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nicky Brindley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Franz Bratwurst! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Bratwurst, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bratwurst lands with a nice combination. Brindley backs away looking to recover. Bratwurst gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Brindley is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bratwurst. Brindley throws a series of strikes that have Bratwurst backpedaling.
A big right from Brindley misses. Brindley on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Bratwurst bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bratwurst scores with a shot to the body.
Brindley tries to clinch but Bratwurst moves out of range. Nicky Brindley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brindley closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bratwurst circles away. Bratwurst thuds a left hand into Brindley's body. Brindley misses with a left hand and Bratwurst counters with a straight right hand. Bratwurst with a hook. Brindley tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bratwurst swivels and escapes. Bratwurst scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Bratwurst moves out of range as Brindley strikes. Bratwurst misses with a series of wild punches.
Bratwurst fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brindley shoots for a takedown but Bratwurst saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nicky Brindley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brindley is breathing heavily. A right-left combo lands from Bratwurst. Bratwurst fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Brindley throws a sloppy body shot
and Bratwurst counters with a crisp one two that drops Brindley! Bratwurst thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Brindley to his feet! Brindley is in big trouble!
Brindley is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bratwurst dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Oh Brindley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Bratwurst feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Brindley crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kee swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kee drives through with a takedown into guard. My spies in Soul Supremacy Fight Club - ELITE TRAINERS----$580 inform me that Kee has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Kane wants to stand and escape but Kee is having none of it. Kee controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Kee avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kee advances position into side control! Kee is looking to take a break and control but Kane is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kane wants to control but Kee postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kee is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kane will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. I wouldn't like to be where Kane is right now. Kee wants to take a breather but Kane manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Kee. Kane is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kane gets in close and instigates a clinch. Kane is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kee gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Kane pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kee avoids the head kick by Kane.
Kee throws a body punch but Kane moves out of range. Kane tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kane ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kee moves away. Kane shoots in for a takedown but Kee shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Kee takes a swing at Kane's ribcage but misses. Kee thows a body shot but no joy. Kane shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dane Kane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kee gets the takedown into side control. Kee is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kane has escaped the position, nice work there. Kee tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. You can see the frustration on Kane's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kee advances to full mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kee throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Kee controlling the position easily from mount. Kee can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kane is looking to escape. Kane tries to control the position but Kee now has his back.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kee trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Kee has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Kane's body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Kee dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kane closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kee's guard. Kee is pulling down on Kane's head to control his posture. Kee looking for a sweep. Not yet Kee, not yet. Kane wants to get up but he can't break Kee's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Kee darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Kee throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kee in particular looking to stall. Kane is trying to control but can't.
Kee wants to take a breather but Kane is having none of it. Kee not doing much here.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Kane definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ryan Kee wasn't active enough on the ground. Kee misses with a body punch
and Kane counters by clinching up. Kee missing with knees to the body.
Kane pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kane fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kane rushes Kee and presses him up against the cage. Kane lands on the inside with an uppercut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kane decides to pull guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kee trying to control the position from guard on top but Kane is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kane has control of Kee's left arm, preventing Kee from doing any damage. Ryan Kee has got the better of the ground game so far. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. The fighters circling - Kee throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Kane scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kane wants to free his trapped foot but Kee is holding on for dear life with his legs. Kane is thwarting Kee's attempts to control the position. Kane seems to be working for a kimura but Kee defends the submission attempt. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kane is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Kee manages to get to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dane Kane dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Kee closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kee lands in his opponent's guard. Kee engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Kane working a defensive guard here.
Kee's corner is telling him to maintain position. Kee tries to free his leg and advance position but Kane is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Kane has a closed guard, preventing Kee from standing up.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Ryan Kee hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Kee shoots in and bounces Kane off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Kane working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Kee has passed into half guard!
Kee takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Kee is trying to control the action in half guard but Kane is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Kee content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kane on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kane tries to get out of the position. Let's hope that Kee has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ryan Kee wasn't active enough on the ground. Kee misses with a low kick as Kane jumps back. Kee is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kane's half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kane tries to get to full guard but Kee has control of the leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kee seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Kane is refusing to be controlled, as Kee sits in half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ryan Kee was stalling too much, according to the referee. Kee gets a takedown into half guard. Kane wants to get back to full guard. Kee is keen to just control but Kane is a slippery customer. Kane keeping control of the position. Kane is staying active underneath Kee, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kane trying to control here.
And that's the end of the fight! Ryan Kee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Kee has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mekk takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Mekk tries a head kick but it misses.
Mekk ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lane moves away. Chubber Lane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mekk tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lane sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mekk somewhat. Lane looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. No joy there for Lane, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lane drops Mekk with a straight right hand, right on the button! Lane follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones shoots in and drives through. Petrov sprawls well. We've been hearing reports that Jones has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Petrov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Petrov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat. Jones looks for a takedown but Petrov sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rome Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Petrov fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Rome Jones has been cut. Jones fails with a takedown attempt. Jones swats away the attempt to clinch by Petrov. Petrov throws a head kick that misses. Jones drives through with a takedown into guard. Petrov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Petrov is keeping the position for now. Jones preventing the sweep. Jones prevents Petrov from getting back to his feet. Petrov is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones lands a couple of elbows. Jones scoring with some ground and pound. Jones preventing the sweep. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Petrov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jones defends it easily. Petrov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Petrov is tightening it up a little... Jones has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Jones reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Jones taps out! Nice BJJ there by Petrov!

Miller sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Miller dodges the punch combination from Botangle.

Botangle on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Botangle throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Miller digs a good hook to Botangle's body.
Botangle looks winded! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Miller ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Botangle takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Botangle looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Miller looks to score with a jab to the body but Botangle is just out of range. A shot to the liver by Miller. Beautiful body shot. Miller's jab looks to have found its range, popping Botangle under the eye. Botangle looks to land a left hand but Miller moved out of range nicely. Miller blocks the body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Good exchange - Miller coming out on top. Botangle misses with a double jab
and Miller counters with a crisp right hand that drops Botangle! Miller lets Botangle back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Botangle is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Some bone on bone action there as Botangle checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Botangle is still on wobbly legs! Can Miller finish him? Miller lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Botangle - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Miller!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ryan Miller! Ryan Miller was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

Ichimaru has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Cooper takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Some bone on bone action there as Ichimaru checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Ichimaru takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Ichimaru moves out of range as Cooper strikes. Cooper scores with a nice strike. A nice inside leg kick there by Ichimaru. That's going to slow Cooper down. Nice straight punches there by Ichimaru.
