Briggs tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Davidov defends well and Briggs ends up having to push Davidov into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Davidov is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Briggs can't fight it off and eventually Davidov manages to take the fight to the floor. Briggs looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Diego Davidov.

These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
