5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jonas Andersson! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jermery throws a shot from downtown. Andersson moves away and avoids it. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jermery lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Andersson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Andersson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Andersson shoots in looking for a takedown. Jermery tries to sprawl out of it but Andersson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jermery manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Andersson gets the takedown into side control. Jermery tries to buck Andersson off but Andersson is having none of it. Andersson trying to control the action but Jermery is working from the bottom. Jermery is looking for a sweep. Andersson tries for a kimura but Jermery is defending well. Jermery tries to bench press Andersson off him but Andersson keeps the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Andersson won't allow Jermery to sweep him here. Jermery jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Andersson manages to avoid the submission attempt. Andersson is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jermery thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Andersson is looking to reverse the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jermery is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Andersson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Jermery wants to lay and pray for a moment but Andersson keeps working. Jermery wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Andersson, who protects the arm well. Jermery swings around for an armbar but Andersson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Jermery's guard. Jermery wants to sweep here but Andersson controlling him for the moment. Andersson wants to control from the top but Jermery keeps moving. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jermery preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Andersson is looking to work some ground and pound but Jermery has wrist control. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jermery to score with a decent uppercut. Andersson fails with a takedown attempt. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lemieux tries to clinch but James is having none of it. James cracks Lemieux with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Lemieux has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lemieux there as he acknowledges the shot. Lemieux tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. James lands a glancing blow to the side of Lemieux's head. Lemieux takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Lemieux darts in trying to clinch enabling James to counter with a crisp jab. We've been told by James's head coaches at Miletich Xtreme Fighting Systems that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Some wild striking there from James.

That was a close round but I would say that Sid James will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Charcobeau cracks a nice hook into Zoolander's ribs. Charcobeau punishes Zoolander's body with a nice straight punch. Charcobeau throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Charcobeau throws the kick towards the body but Zoolander avoids it. Charcobeau motions for Zoolander to come forward. Charcobeau throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Zoolander takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Charcobeau scores with the left hand. Zoolander knows he should have avoided that one. Charcobeau just misses with a punch to the body.

We've been informed that Charcobeau has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Zoolander swings wildly with an uppercut but Charcobeau uses good head movement to avoid it. Zoolander breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Zoolander throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Zoolander lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Charcobeau circles away quickly and effectively. Charcobeau keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Zoolander. Charcobeau wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Zoolander misses with a looping right. A jab lands there for Charcobeau. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Charcobeau fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Pearson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pearson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Pearson trying to control the position from guard on top but Deeney is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pearson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Deeney looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pearson is one step ahead there. Pearson postures up.
Pearson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Deeney is pulling down on Pearson's head to control his posture.
