The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akagono moves in looking to clinch but Hall pushes him off.
Akagono dives in for a single leg takedown but Hall sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Hall wants to break the clinch but can't.

Akagono decides to pull guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Akagono looking for a guillotine here but Hall defends easily.

Akagono working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hall doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hall manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Gears tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gears has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Gears is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Ingear looks calm but he's in trouble here. Gears gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Ingear is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Gears lets go of the hold and Ingear can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Parker's coach down at White Dragon Tactical was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Parker's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
