The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sar throws a hook but Reynolds blocks it. A big left from Sar misses. Sar looks for a takedown but Reynolds sprawls well. Reynolds scores with a nice head shot.
It looks like Salath Sar has been cut. Sar misses with a looping right. Salath Sar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reynolds lands a slapping body shot.
Sar tries for a takedown but Reynolds circles away easily and Reynolds counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fitzsimmons avoids the body shot from Potterswheel.
Fitzsimmons listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Fitzsimmons throws a hook to the side of Potterswheel's head but Potterswheel sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Potterswheel misses with a looping left. Potterswheel tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fitzsimmons was well out of range. Poor timing from Potterswheel. Potterswheel throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Potterswheel slips under a jab from Fitzsimmons. Fitzsimmons scores with a jab to the body. Fitzsimmons slips a straight right by Potterswheel. Fitzsimmons has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Fitzsimmons swings away with a leg kick that misses. Potterswheel throws a hook but Fitzsimmons avoids it easily. Fitzsimmons looks to land a left hand but Potterswheel moved out of range nicely. Fitzsimmons bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Fitzsimmons pushes down on Potterswheel's head and hops out. Potterswheel takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Potterswheel throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Fitzsimmons on the side of the head. Fitzsimmons throws a hook to the side of Potterswheel's head but Potterswheel sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Potterswheel misses with a wild body shot. Fitzsimmons staying out of range there. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Potterswheel has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Potterswheel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fitzsimmons moves away. Potterswheel misses with a jab to the body
and Fitzsimmons counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Fitzsimmons uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Potterswheel. Potterswheel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Potterswheel slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Potterswheel has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dos Santos connects with a solid leg kick. Dos Santos slips a jab and a cross from Lee.
Lee definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Lee is looking to clinch but Dos Santos is avoiding it.
Lee closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dos Santos circles away. Lee shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dos Santos sprawls well. Dos Santos wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lee gets slowly back to his feet. That kick from Dos Santos tenderised Lee's leg. Lee is trying to keep his angry face on. Lee throwing strikes but Dos Santos manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Lee is positioning himself to get back to half guard. And that's the end of the fight! Julian Thomas showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Thomas, winning every round. Will the judges agree? Morrow breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Morrow slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Morrow moves into range and clinches up with Coco. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Whittaker walks into a jab. Whittaker moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Whittaker tries to clinch up but Malapitan circles away and keeps his distance. Nice defenses there by Whittaker. Whittaker will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Malapitan throws a hook but Whittaker blocks it. Whittaker uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Malapitan has time to react. Whittaker tries to close the distance and clinch but Malapitan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Whittaker throws a hook but Malapitan avoids it easily. That's one minute gone in the round. Whittaker tries to clinch up letting Malapitan counter with a right hand. The fighters circling - Whittaker throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A big left from Whittaker misses. Malapitan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Whittaker. Whittaker dips to his left and cracks Malapitan with an uppercut! Whittaker wants to clinch and Malapitan counters with a lovely straight right hand! Malapitan misses with a wild body shot. Whittaker takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Malapitan clobbers Whittaker with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Malapitan misses with a left hand and Whittaker rattles Malapitan with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Malapitan tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Whittaker dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Malapitan stiff and motionless on the mat!
