The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salander moves in looking to clinch but Huxi pushes him off.
Huxi scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Royo Salander has been cut.
Thomas Huxi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Huxi throws a series of punches but Salander avoids them all with ease.
Salander looks for a takedown but Huxi sprawls well.

Huxi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Huxi connects with a nice short shot to Salander's temple.

and Huxi counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Huxi.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Huxi manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Face is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Yeaksi knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Yeaksi for a finish.
Face has the hooks in. Yeaksi is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Face scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.

Face sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Horrible takedown by Face or perhaps it was just good defense by Yeaksi which made him look bad.
