The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Keller uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mcleod.
Mcleod drops Keller with a left and a right! Oh, Keller is hurt - Mcleod dives into side control looking to finish!
It looks like Carlos Keller has been cut. Keller is looking to regain half guard here but Mcleod keeps moving and retains side control. Mcleod decides to take the fight back to the feet. This has been an exciting period of action! Keller defending well as Mcleod loads up on a big left hand. Decent striking displayed by Mcleod there. Keller shoots in for a takedown but Mcleod shows good takedown defense. Mcleod misses with an uppercut. Keller saw that one coming. Mcleod wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Mcleod throws out a loose jab but Keller uses good head movement to avoid it. Mcleod throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Keller tumbling to the canvas!
Keller is rocked! Keller is working an open guard so Mcleod takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Mcleod misses with a straight left. The fighters circling - Mcleod throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Mcleod lands a slapping body shot.

Dante Mcleod is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Keller ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Dante Mcleod seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Keller moves forwards but Mcleod connects with a nice, crisp jab. Mcleod throws a series of punches but Keller moves out of range. Keller walks into a straight right hand from Mcleod. Mcleod throws a looping overhand right but Keller ducks down to avoid it. A telegraphed right hand from Mcleod misses the target. Mcleod swats away the attempt to clinch by Keller. Keller moves out of range as Mcleod strikes. Keller takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Mcleod is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Mcleod waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Keller. Mcleod misses with a looping left.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcleod lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Keller sprawling to the canvas. Mcleod follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Keller hang on? Keller is still in real trouble! Can Mcleod finish him? Mcleod postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Keller to stand up. Mcleod misses with the combination.
Keller seems to have recovered his senses. Mcleod swats away the attempt to clinch by Keller. Keller blocks a jab. Mcleod misses with a wild body shot. Mcleod looks to score with a jab to the body but Keller is just out of range. Mcleod misses with a looping right. The crowd cheers as Mcleod lands an impressive looking overhand right. Keller doesn't seem phased though. Mcleod sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Keller uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mcleod.
A telegraphed right hand from Mcleod misses the target. Mcleod throws out a loose jab but Keller uses good head movement to avoid it. Keller fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mcleod avoids it really well and circles away. Mcleod looks to land a left hand but Keller moved out of range nicely. Keller will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dante Mcleod has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlos Keller. Keller takes one on the button.
That has opened up Carlos Keller's cut even more. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mcleod rushes Keller with punches - Keller moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Keller goes down! Mcleod follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Bob wants to slow Lesner down by chopping away at his legs. Lesner throws a lazy right hand but Bob sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bob throws out a loose jab but Lesner uses good head movement to avoid it. A big right from Bob misses. A jab from Bob misses. Lesner throws a jab but it's blocked by Bob. Bob throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice defenses there by Lesner. Jab by Bob. Lesner is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bob. Bob digs a good hook to Lesner's body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lesner shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bob as he avoids it easily. Bob with a jab. Bob misses with a looping left. Lesner drops his hands momentarily and Bob takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
It looks like Brock Lesner has been cut. Bob is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Bob tests Lesner's chin there with a solid looking shot. Bob throws a hook but Lesner blocks it. Bob cracks Lesner with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Bob slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lesner drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Bob bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lesner's head backwards. Bob drops Lesner with a beautiful combination! Lesner stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Bob is looking for the KO! Bob connects with a looping right hand.
Lesner looks gassed! Bob lands with a good body shot. Bob is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Bob lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lesner at a distance.
Bob sizes up Lesner with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
That has opened up Brock Lesner's cut even more. Bob feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lesner sprawling to the canvas! Lesner rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bob finish him?!
Lesner is rocked! A jab from Bob does it's job there. Lesner is still on wobbly legs! Can Bob finish him? Bob tried to score with a low kick but Lesner checks it. Lesner seems to have recovered his senses. Bob throws a leg kick but Lesner moved away. Bob throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lesner. Lesner takes one to the chin there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bob cracks Lesner with an open hand slap. Bob throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bob lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The cut above Brock Lesner's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Lesner on the wrong end of a nice jab. Bob scores with a shot to the body.
Bob is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Bob lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Lesner takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Bob wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Bob cracks Lesner with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Bob lands a slapping body shot.
Bob connects with a solid leg kick. Bob throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Lesner takes one to the chin there.
Brock Lesner's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Bob smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Bob scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Brock Lesner's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Left hook, right uppercut from Abdellaoui. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Abdellaoui throws a one two combo.

Abdellaoui would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Curwin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Abdellaoui defends it easily. Abdellaoui stays in close to Curwin's body and controls the position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Abdellaoui decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Curwin, up you get! Abdellaoui is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Curwin can do to turn this around?
