Rowe comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Fight Music kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Busta Mug had a look across the cage there at his opponent. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Busta Mug! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Timmy Rowe! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Bruno Lombardi and Reed Andrews.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rowe fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mug avoids it really well and circles away. Rowe swats away the attempt to clinch by Mug. Rowe swats away the attempt to clinch by Mug. Mug is looking to clinch but Rowe is avoiding it.
Mug drives through and clinches with Rowe against the cage.
Rowe jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mug walks away with a smile on his face. Rowe gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Mug tries to clinch up but Rowe circles away and keeps his distance. Mug misses with a takedown
and Rowe counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rowe. Rowe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mug swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rowe keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mug's head. Mug is trying to keep Rowe in close.
Mug will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Rowe is looking to work some ground and pound but Mug has wrist control.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Mug keeping full guard, as Rowe tries to pass. Mug throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Mug trying to control the position.
Rowe working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Mug doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Rowe counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Mug wants to stand but Rowe is controlling the position. Rowe content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Rowe with a flurry of punches that miss. Rowe looking to pass the guard. Mug wants to sweep but no luck. Mug utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Rowe postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Mug scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Mug closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rowe tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mug wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Rowe gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Rowe slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Rowe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rowe frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Mug is looking to get to half guard. Rowe lands a nice shot to the head.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Rowe in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Rowe lands a heavy elbow.
Rowe has control of Mug's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mug regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Rowe looks gassed! Rowe working away from the top, dropping strikes. Mug sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Mug won't allow Rowe to pass to mount. Rowe is trying to control. Mug wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Rowe works his foot free and advances to mount. Mug on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mug tries to get out of the position. Rowe throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Mug tries to get back to half guard but can't. Rowe scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Mug?
Rowe lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Rowe is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Mug has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Mug! Rowe is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rowe keeping moving, preventing Mug from controlling successfully. Mug wants to get up but he can't break Rowe's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mug tries to free his leg and advance position but Rowe is retaining full guard. Rowe wants to sweep but no luck. Mug trying to control but Rowe is working from the bottom. Mug is looking to stand up but Rowe won't let him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Mug tries to close the distance and clinch but Rowe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Mug tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Rowe counters with a nice body shot.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Mug misses with a wild combination.
Mug doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rowe makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Mug throws a combination that misses and Rowe counters with a nice uppercut. Mug looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rowe is fending him off so far but Mug persists. Nope, Rowe circles away and we're back to standing. Mug looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A looping hook to the body misses from Rowe. Mug does a little dance to reset his feet.

Timmy Rowe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Mug trying to control the position from guard on top but Rowe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mug wants to stand but Rowe has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Rowe manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mug manages to get himself to full guard.

Rowe drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Rowe seems to have locked his on tight now - Mug screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Rowe, as he picks up the win!

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urijah Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hernandez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Cocteau Twins - Song to the Siren. Urijah Faber struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Faber shoots in but Hernandez avoids the takedown attempt easily. Hernandez feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Faber's calf. No luck for Faber with that takedown attempt. Hernandez lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Faber backs up against the cage.
 It looks like Urijah Faber has been cut. Hernandez stuffs the takedown attempt from Faber. Faber gets slowly back to his feet. Oscar Hernandez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Urijah Faber. Hernandez leaves Faber with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Faber looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hernandez is fending him off so far but Faber persists. Nope, Hernandez circles away and we're back to standing. Faber looks gassed! Faber shoots in for a takedown but Hernandez shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Faber shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hernandez sprawls well. Hernandez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Faber gets slowly back to his feet. Hernandez cracks a nice hook into Faber's ribs. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Faber is trying desperately to land a takedown but Hernandez is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Faber. Hernandez lands a two punch combo.
Urijah Faber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Faber takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

 That has opened up Urijah Faber's cut even more. Hernandez lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Faber - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Hernandez!

Jon Lionel has got the better of the ground game so far. Lionel might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Simpson kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Lionel is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Simpson defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Vasher takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Jackson throws a hook but Vasher blocks it. Jackson misses with a looping left. Jackson swinging wildly here.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ross misses with a hook. Law ducked under it nicely. Law looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Ross misses with a straight right. Law slips a jab from Ross. Law uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ross. Ross throws a looping overhand right but Law ducks down to avoid it.
Law shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Law was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Ross slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Ross is trying to maintain the position but Law is very close to passing his half guard. Law trying to control from half guard but Ross is working away. Ross is trying to control but can't.

He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Ross is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Ross is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Law being controlled here momentarily. Ross manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Staples dips to his left and cracks Evans with an uppercut! Staples fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Evans on the side of the head. Staples throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Evans looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Staples lands a nice looking body shot.

Evans throws a jab but it's blocked by Staples. Mitch Staples is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Staples tests Evans's chin there with a solid looking shot.
And that's the end of the fight! Mitch Staples showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Staples, winning every round. Will the judges agree?  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson shoots in for a double leg but Laden sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Laden swats away the attempt to clinch by Anderson. Laden looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Laden lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

"Ole!" shouts TheRotten as he jumps to the side. Turd looks for the body kick but TheRotten saw that one coming. TheRotten delivers a nice body kick. Turd takes a body punch but keeps moving. TheRotten throws a combination. Turd tries to block but a couple of punches get through. This has been an exciting period of action! Turd throws a head kick but TheRotten moves out of range.

TheRotten lands a left and a right that send Turd crashing to the mat, dazed. TheRotten thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! TheRotten lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
