8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dustin Kilgore! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Chad Campbell and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fredriksson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Fredriksson misses the target. Kilgore tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fredriksson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Nice defenses there by Kilgore. Fredriksson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Fredriksson digs a good body shot into Kilgore's ribs. Kilgore tries to clinch but Fredriksson moves out of range. Fredriksson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Fredriksson lands with an overhand left. Fredriksson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kilgore. Fredriksson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kilgore looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Kilgore steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fredriksson. Fredriksson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kilgore moves away from the strike by Fredriksson. A swing and a miss from Fredriksson. Kilgore fails to land with a series of punches.

and Kilgore counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Kilgore scores with a decent looking elbow strike. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kilgore tries to free his leg and advance position but Fredriksson is retaining full guard. Kilgore is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kilgore throws a big right hand that misses.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fredriksson tries to get out of the position. Kilgore thows a huge punch but Fredriksson dodges it nicely.

Kilgore has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kilgore throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fredriksson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kilgore accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kilgore missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kilgore postures up and lands a big shot to Fredriksson's brow. Kilgore pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fredriksson is keeping the position for now. Kilgore working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fredriksson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. We've been told by Fredriksson's head coaches at Hell's Balls NY Hellcademy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Fredriksson scores with a jab to the head.
Fredriksson takes a swing at Kilgore's ribcage but misses. Fredriksson misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Kilgore counters with a shoot takedown. Fredriksson fights it but they end up in guard. Kilgore has gone for a leg lock! Fredriksson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kilgore's guard. Fredriksson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kilgore has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fredriksson has managed to get both his arms back between Kilgore's legs - danger averted.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kilgore has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fredriksson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kilgore doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Kilgore escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fredriksson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Fredriksson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Kilgore had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fredriksson defends it easily. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Dustin Kilgore showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Fredriksson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

and Kilgore counters with a nice uppercut. The crowd cheers as Fredriksson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kilgore doesn't seem phased though. Fredriksson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Fredriksson lands with a nice body punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A jab from Fredriksson misses. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fredriksson, as that shot connected.
Kilgore shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fredriksson as he avoids it easily. Fredriksson throws a big shot that misses. Fredriksson throws an off balance right hand
and Kilgore counters with a three punch combo that has Fredriksson backing up. Fredriksson nods at Kilgore to acknowledge the strikes. Fredriksson misses the jab. Fredriksson looks to land a left hand but Kilgore moved out of range nicely. Fredriksson leaves Kilgore with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kilgore displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fredriksson throws out the jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kilgore on the wrong end of a nice hook. Fredriksson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Fredriksson swings widly with a right hand
and Kilgore makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Fredriksson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kilgore takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Kilgore walks into a stiff left hand from Fredriksson. Roland Fredriksson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Fredriksson looks to land a left hand but Kilgore moved out of range nicely. Kilgore defending well as Fredriksson loads up on a big left hand. Kilgore doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Fredriksson thuds a left hand into Kilgore's body.

and Kilgore counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Fredriksson fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kilgore is out of range. Fredriksson just misses with a punch to the body.

Not really close to a finish though. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kilgore throwing shots but missing, from side control.

Splash sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sappe's guard. Splash thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sappe's head. Splash trying to control from half guard but Sappe is working away. Sappe regains full guard. Nicely done. Sappe is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Splash defends well. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. He's being very persistent here but Griffin manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Drake is keeping the position for now. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Griffin trying to control but Drake is working from the bottom. Drake bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Griffin's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dastan Drake dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Griffin thows a body shot but no joy. Marcus Griffin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Griffin digs a good hook to Drake's body.

He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Drake moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Drake manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Drake postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Griffin looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Drake cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Griffin can't escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drake is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Griffin can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Griffin is rocked! Drake lands a big elbow. Griffin is still in real trouble! Can Drake finish him? Drake is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Griffin goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Drake!

Dedechi tries to avoid it but Brown manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dedechi to the ground. Dedechi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dedechi fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Brown on the side of the head. Brown looks to score with a jab to the body but Dedechi is just out of range. Dedechi looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Brown lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Dedechi connects with a single shot there. Dedechi lands with a good body shot. Brown misses with a body shot.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brown accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. That was a close second round but I would say that Honda Dedechi will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! DeJesus tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nguyen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten DeJesus somewhat. DeJesus shoots in but Nguyen avoids the takedown attempt easily. DeJesus walks into a straight right hand from Nguyen. Nguyen tries for a takedown but DeJesus sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Nguyen gets in close and instigates a clinch. DeJesus tries for a takedown but Nguyen manages to get underhooks.
Thomas Nguyen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sammy DeJesus. Nguyen wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but DeJesus has him pressed against the cage. We've been hearing reports that Nguyen has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Felterbush gets a takedown into half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Sato is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Sato on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Felterbush wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sato keeps working. Felterbush is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sato defends it well. Sato blocking the ground and pound attempt from Felterbush. Felterbush is nestled in close to Sato, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Renka Susi! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Bruno Lombardi and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Susi has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Anderson. Anderson throws a body kick that misses. Anderson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Susi.
Anderson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Susi shoots in for a double leg but Anderson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A punch lands to the side of Anderson 's head but he takes it in his stride. Susi misses the shot to the body. Anderson jabs Susi right on the nose. Susi blinks but takes it well. Anderson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Susi looks to throw the jab but Anderson is out of range. Anderson throws a push kick but Susi slaps the foot to one side. Anderson darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Susi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Susi digs a good hook to Anderson's body.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Susi laying and praying for a moment but Anderson takes advantage and regains half guard. Anderson is looking for a sweep. Susi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
